Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no!! They're going to tell me! What if its something horrible? like they're shipping me off to live with my grumpy aunt? Or, we were moving?!
I turned back around, and sat at the table. "Opal, we've been thinking a lot this summer, and well...." my mom couldn't finish her sentence. So dad finished it for her.
"We've decided... that we can't give you any further education." he said. "we're going to send to a real school."
WHAT?! "no!! you can't do that! I'm not ready to go there!! you can still teach me!!" I wasn't hearing this. Did they know what goes on in Jr. High?
"Honey, it's too late to make changes The papers are already signed, and you start on Friday." mom said.
Ok, so they decide to send me to a public school, then wait till the last minute to tell me?!
" You can't do this !!" I said again. Tears burned in my eyes. I couldn't take it anymore. I ran out the door, into the dark, peaceful night. I ran and ran till I was at the treehouse. But instead of climbing inside, I climbed all the way to the top of the tree. The starts were shining brightly. I just sat there, tears burning out if my eyes.

So you're probably wondering why I made such a big deal about finding out I have to go to a real school. Let me explain.
One thing you should know about me is that I'm a bookworm. And I LOVE teen fiction! Mostly because it's fun to read about drama I'm not apart of.
But now that I had to go there, I was scared. I k we what went on in there. D-R-A-M-A, drama. Heartbreaks, friendship crisis, girls hating each other and getting into cat fights. Not only did I not wanna be apart of that, but I knew how the new girl would be treated. And I was the new girl.
