Big Secrets, Little Time

Chapter Two

You know when you meet someone and you literally expect nothing from them because they just seem like genuine people but then they tell you something huge and you can hardly breathe.

Yah me either until now.

"I'm Rocket Deal." He said flat out sexy accent and all.

"Wait what?" I said.

"You didn't know?" He asked looking surprised.

"No." I said laughing.

"But you and your friend are in love with me how could you not know?" He asked.

I almost choked.

"She is in love with you not me." I stated.

"When we were younger I told her I loved your music but I haven't listened to it since your last album." I said.

"Well then she must know." He said.

"Did you not see her boyfriend?" I asked.

"Not even your hot accent can pull her away from a the trans he has her in." I said.

"You think my accents hot?" He asked smirking.

"Shut up." I said laughing.

"Please don't tell your whole school." He begged.

"Oh I won't don't worry." I said.

"Thank you."

"No problem."

On our way home Jennifer kept asking me about RT.

"So he's cute." She said. "Are you guys like a thing?"

"No." I grumbled.

Having her ask about him was hard on me because I tell her everything so keeping this huge secret was messing with my head.

"What's up with his hoodie and sun glasses?" She asked with a smirk. "Is he a vampire?"

"NO!" I snapped.

She looked at me hurt. "Sorry."

She looked straight ahead the rest oh the car ride and wouldn't speak to me.

Once I finished my homework which took me 3 hours because I had a lot of trouble reading it I decided to go for a walk.

My mom made me promise I'd be back by 9 at the latest incase I decided to do something else.

While I was walking I passed by Garret's house and through the window I could see his father screaming at him.

"FAIL ANOTHER CLASS AND I SWEAR YOU'LL NEVER PLAY ANOTHER SPORT IN YOUR LIFE!"

Then he slapped him. Garret placed his hand on his face which was filled with both shock and pain.

"KEVIN!" Garret's mom yelled in shock.

"DON'T GET INVOLVED PAIGE!" He yelled.

She then stepped in front of Garret. "Don't touch him." Was what I read from her lips because she wasn't yelling.

Mr. Link then shoved her on the ground. Garret jumped in front of her to protect her so Mr. Link started beating him up bad.
