Chapter Five

"Kingsley come here the news is on and they are interviewing Rocket Deal!" She squealed.

Surprised to hear that I dashed into the living room and sat down next to her.

Now seeing him on the tv I could tell that it was RT but Jennifer seemed to have no clue whatsoever.

Reporter: "What's in store for this upcoming concert?"

RT: "Well it's going to be all my usual music but I am also going to be singing two out of the ten new songs from my album that's coming out soon."

Reporter: "That's awesome!"

RT: "Yah, thanks."

Reporter: "What about the premiere?" "Are you bringing anyone special?"

RT: "Well I've asked my best friend to go with me so I'm just hoping for her reply soon since it's in two days."

Reporter: "Will you tell us the name of this lucky lady?"

RT: "Nah, you'll have to find out who she is at the premiere if she comes."

Reporter: "Thank you Rocket!"
"Well you've heard it here first folks Rocket Deal might have a lady with him at the premiere."

"OMG!" Jennifer squeaked. "I wonder who it is."

"Yah." I said. "When did they record that?"

"It's a late take." She said. "I think it was this morning about 3 hours ago."

"Ok." I said as I headed back into the kitchen.

I went back to making us some pasta when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey it's RT." He said.

"Oh hey what's up?" I asked.

"I was just wondering about the premiere." He said.

There was a knock at the door.

"Um one second RT." I said.

"JENNIFER CAN YOU PLEASE GET THE DOOR!" I yelled.

"SURE!" She yelled back.

"Okay I'm back RT, what was your question?"

"Oh I was wondering if you were going to be coming to the premiere?" He asked.

"No get out now!" I heard Jennifer saying angrily.

"I'm sorry RT just give me another minute." I said placing the phone down.

I ran into the hallway where I saw Jennifer struggling to close the door on Devon.

"Please just listen to me!" He begged.

"No!" She whisper shouted, tears threatening to come at any minute.

"GET OUT!" I yelled.

Devon saw me and ran making the door slam and Jennifer fall with it.
