Chapter Twenty

I didn't know what was going on. All I knew was that I could hear everything but I couldn't move my mouth or eyes or honestly anything.

"Is she gonna make it?" I heard RTs voice ask.

"Wait is who gonna make it?"
I asked myself confused.

"We aren't sure yet." A male voice said.

"Her condition is very bad and she's in a coma right now."

"No this...this can't be happening." RT stuttered.

"I was supposed to marry her and then everything would be okay." He said sadness in his voice.

"I DO, I DO, I DO!" I screamed.

I wanted to marry him. All I had to honestly say was I do and we would have been married and there would have been no worries but no that's not how it works.

"Hey pretty girl." I heard Brads voice say.

"I'm not sure you can hear me but the doctors say some patients can hear people when they are in a coma."

"I just wanted to tell you that we are all here so just keep fighting because we are not going to leave your side."

"Yah." I heard Jennifer's reassuring voice.

"I'm sorry we fought and I wasn't there for you the whole time." She said starting to cry.

"But I promise if you just come back I'll make it up to you and I'll never mess up that bad again." I heard her run and then the door close.

"JENN!" I heard Brad yell and then the door closed again.

"Hi baby." I heard my moms voice say.

"You've already been through so much you don't deserve this but I know you can push through this and I'll be here every step on the way."

She silently cried and then I felt her lay her head on my lap.

"I love you." I said although I knew she couldn't hear me.

"Hi Kingsley." I heard a voice say. It was quiet so I couldn't recognize it.

"I honestly think is stupid to talk to someone who can't respond but here I am because I've missed you."

I could now tell it was Garret.

"I'm sorry I missed your wedding but from what I've heard and what I'm seeing now it wasn't a very good one." I could totally imagine him laughing at that joke although it wasn't funny.

"I'm now off house arrest so when you wake up we can hang out!" He said excitedly.

"Honestly I'm assuming you won't hang out with me because you love RT and now I'm assuming Jennifer wont either because your tool of a cousin is back and has taken her."

I hadn't realized how smug he was until now since I couldn't do anything but listen.

Did he seriously just tell a person in a coma he wanted to hang with them even though they had a boyfriend and then said he would have also chosen my best friend.
