Big Secrets, Little Time

Chapter Twelve

I picked up my phone to see that there were 10 messages. 9 of them were from Jennifer and 1 was from Garret.

Confused as to why he would send me a voicemail I listened even though I was beyond pissed at the both of them.

-Voicemail-

"Kingsley listen." He said. "I'm sorry I cheated on you."

"What I did was so wrong and horrible but you have to understand that I was drunk and so was she and I would have never slept with her if I wasn't drunk I promise."

"Not only that though, I'm so sorry for having you stand up to my dad and say I was nothing like him when really I am because although he physically hurts us I verbally hurt you in a sense since I cheated on you."

"Now before you hang up or if you already did then you won't hear this but you are right to hate me and not want to talk to me but RT is different I can tell and don't let an amazing chance pass you by."

"Once again I'm sorry."

-Voicemail over-

He was right I should be with RT.

Yah he was an idiot for kissing another girl but in a sense we weren't dating we had just kissed and said we wanted to be together.

I stood up from my bed and whipped my eyes. I was done sulking and I was ready to do something that mattered.

I knocked on RTs door completely nervous but trying to control my nerves before I dashed away so he wouldn't know it was me.

A nice women opened the door. She looked just like RT. I was pretty sure it was his mother because I thought I remembered seeing her in the hospital.

"Hello aren't you Kingsley?" She asked.

I nodded and stuck my hand out. "It's nice to officially meet you." I said. "Is RT here?

"He's in the backyard." She said. "Just go right through the house and the back doors to the far left."

I followed her instructions and once I got to the glass doors I froze.

The pool had been opened since the party since it was warm enough and he was diving off the diving bored.

His abs were gorgeous. I could see the stitches on his lower stomach from where he had been stabbed.

I opened the door as he dove so that he wouldn't notice me.

I quickly stripped off my shorts and t-shirt so I was only in my bra and underwear but it was fine because it looked like a bathing suit.

He came up from air so I started sprinting and then I jumped in yelling canon ball like an idiot.

I came up for air to see RTs shocked face.
