Chapter Thirty Four

Evan

I closed my eyes, ready to feel the pain around my neck. I heard a clunk and the feeling of touching the ground disappeared. At the same time Jon and I dropped like sacs. I tried my best not moving. The more I moved, the more the rope would rub around my neck. I knew, if we weren't vampyres we'd both be dead instantly. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a blue figure moving around. With as much as my voice as I could use I yelled at Jon, "Stop moving!" I cracked, blood exploding from my mouth. I heard Jon sobbing and grunting. This was the end, and if we're gone, the rest of the world will be killed by Nelson and his stupid darkness. 

My vision was turning purple and there was ringing in my ears. Through the ringing I heard screams. I felt wind, cooling my sweating face. Then I heard one scream. Lui's. Through my dark vision I could see him running to us. Knocking Luke over with the breeze. He even got Nelson. Nelson was throwing his dark tendrils everywhere screaming at Apate to help him, surprisingly she didn't move a muscle. One going straight to Lui. The black snake turned into ashes as David stepped out from behind Lui. They continued fighting, even Marcel and Brian were fighting. As chaos broke loose my vision went totally black.

I told Luce to stay back when Evan called all of us by the elements. I saw him and Jon go limp hanging from the ropes. As tears stung my eyes I ran over to the ropes. I tried my best cutting them with the pocket knife Brian threw to me. With a few more grunts and cuts, Evan's body fell. I started cutting Jon's rope when someone pulled me off. Jon was still wide awake and struggling. I turned around into Luke. He threw a punch. I rolled my eyes and laughed. I threw my fist to his face but didn't actually hit his face. Instead a whole root from the ground wrapped around his legs and arms. I laughed and threw my fist the other way, throwing Luke into the wall and out of the school grounds. I got up quick to cut the rest of Jon's rope. I quickly pushed the knife through and there fell Jon. He ripped off the rope and went to Evan. I gave him a nervous glance as Nelson stood up, his fists two black blobs.

"Its time to put you stupid kids to an end." Nelson warned as the blackness grew larger. "No, its time to put you to an end!" I said standing tall. Nelson let out a cackle, "You and what army?" Behind me Jon stood up proud, a little blue light coming from his hands, looking like little water droplets. I heard footsteps on the wooden noose. David, flames in his hands, stood proud. Lui, wind in his little hands and his hair, stood beside David. Nephthys, elder but wise, stood beside us. Brian and Marcel stood proud. Even a blood shot Tyler stood proud. I heard one more set of steps, Luce, she grabbed my hand and stood proudly beside me. "So... as you were saying?" I laughed. "Well! You kids have no match with an immortal!" He shouted. "Yeah we do! Half of her immortality is with Jon!" Someone shouted. We all turned around to Evan, shakily standing up with huge circles around his eyes. Jon smirked and looked at Nelson. "Where is Apate anyway?" Luce asked with a little sass. Nelson looked around, but the goddess was no where to be found. "Whatever! I don't need her!" Nelson screamed and shot out a black tendril. "Circle up!" Evan yelled. I didn't understand what Evan was doing until he started moving towards Nelson. He wants us to destroy him with out elements. 

Lui instantly ran East. David ran South. Jon ran West and I ran North. Evan was in the middle of the circle with Nelson. "Shit! We need candles!" Jon shouted. Worrying over his boyfriend getting killed by the asshole. "No! I get ye guys!" David shouted as Brian grabbed extra pillar candles. He threw color to the right owner. Evan started out the spell as each candle lit up with his words. Evan said the sentence fast but it worked. "Call all elements to the circle!" He yelled. "Take away this darkness!" Nephthys quickly stepped in with Evan. Lui firstly got called. "Air, come to me!" He shouted, "blow away this darkness!" Air instantly flew around all of us. "Fire, come to me!" David shouted, "burn all this darkness!" Warmth passed through all of us, our faces flustering. Jon let out a psychopathic laughter and called Water. "Water, come to me baby!" He yelled, "wash away all this darkness!" Cool scents filled the air, and a sea breeze passed by. I smirked, waiting to kill Nelson for good. "Earth, come to me!" I shouted, "absorb this darkness and have it never return! Take it into your roots, and the dirt." The smell of cut grass and sunflowers went around all of us. The circle was almost complete. I gasped when I finally noticed a white glowing path connecting the four elements, the four of us, together. 

Evan was the last one to go, and I had a feeling this last one was gonna hurt like a bitch for Nelson. "Spirit, come to me!" Evan yelled and threw his one hand in the air, the other holding his purple candle. "Collect Darkness! Turn it to good! Keep the balance between Light and Darkness even!" And with that Evan turned into a big ball of light. Nelson screaming in agony. But his screaming stopped when Nephthys took off her necklace. Nelson saw his reflection and screamed even more. 

Light was shinning everywhere. I was connected to Lui and Jon. Lui was connected to David and I. David was connected to Jon and Lui. Jon was connected to David and I. Then all of us were connected to Evan, or a huge ball of light. "What's happening?" I screamed over Nelson's screams. "I showed him his real self!" Nephthys shouted as she put away her necklace. After Nelson was nothing but a melted pile of shit, there were more screams. Jon started screaming his name. Oh no. Evan was screaming in pain. "Evan!" He screamed, tears streaming down his face. I'm surprised he hasn't moved yet, but Jon knows, if he moves, the circle breaks and that could kill every one of us. "What's happening Nephthys?!" Lui shouted. "He's changing!" She shouted, her smile big and bright. "Why is he screaming!?" Jon asked. "It hurts a bit." The High Priestess joked. "A bit-?" Before Jon could snap the whole circle closed and Evan collapsed. My legs felt like jelly as I fell to the ground. David and Lui did the same. Jon wobbled his way over to Evan. Nephthys stood there smiling. "You guys did it... you really did it!" And with that, everything went black.
