Loriana POV
I've been in a bad mood for the past two weeks. I only have like a month left of vacation and at this point, I just want it to be over. Me and Rodney's conversation just put me in a bad state. I got the closure I wanted but I think I was better off without it. Just the fact that he loves another girl is heartbreaking.
"Lori! You've been spaced out for a while." Auntie Tammy said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Oh my bad." I mumbled. The whole family is over for a little cookout since it's nice outside.
"Nothing can stop me I'm all the way up!" Uncle Ty yelled walking through the screen door that led to the backyard.
"You're high already Tyrese? Such a shame." Auntie Tammy shook her head.
"You're on your third burger already Tammy? Such a shame. I guess weight loss ain't for everybody." He clapped back.
"The weight jokes are getting old." Auntie Tammy rolled her eyes.
"That gel and edge control getting old. Edges so fed up they won't even stay down no more. Bitches screaming for some water and castor oil." He said then made himself scarce. I busted out laughing along with everybody else.
"I don't like him. Needs to be put in an institute. Can't believe that actually is going to raise a child." Auntie Tammy shook her head
I tuned everyone out and went on instagram, scrolling through my timeline. I honestly haven't posted something on here in so long. The last thing I posted was a photo of me and Rodney. I don't know why but I can't bring myself to remove the photos of him from my profile. I feel like when I do that, I'm really accepting that there is no more us.
I continued to scroll then I stop at a photo Rodney posted and my heart dropped. It was an off guard photo of me and the caption is what really got me.
RBlaze_: Don't know what I did too deserve such a princess but I do know what I did too loose her. For any nigga planning on cheated on the perfect girl, don't do it. It's true when they say you don't know what you have till it's gone. This is my queen forever though. She ain't single, her DM's are closed. I just hope she gives me a chance to right my wrongs. @_QueenL
What? I can't do this and this photo and caption makes me want to cry like a baby. This all just sounds so sweet but I don't trust Rodney. At all. I know he meant everything he said but I'm not trying to fall into a trap. I already forgave him but I don't know if I can go further than that.
I got up from my seat and walked outside where everyone was. What was suppose to be a small family get together is starting to look like a party. Of course, my uncle's trap niggas showed up.
I walk over to where Chris and Andre were and took a seat in the chair next to Chris.
"Hey guys." I waved.
"I see you're asking for an ass whooping with them short ass shorts on and your belly out." Chris chuckled.
"I'm grown." I mumbled.
"Yeah, ok."
"Leave me alone." I laughed. "Boy, are you still living with granddad?" I asked him.
"Hell yah. I can't stand my parents. I don't understand t them getting a divorce. Like for what?" He sucked his teeth in annoyance.
"They're separated and not divorced. But honestly Chris, your parents already lost Ace. They don't want to loose you to. They love you and whatever their personal issues are, wine effect how much they live you or Geana."
