Chapter 21: Detective Sue (New Version)

SUE.

It's three days since Reina visited Demigods Academy. Because of her, I felt at ease dahil nagawa kong sabihin sa kanya ang mga sama ng loob na kinikimkim ko.

"Focus, Sue!" I was caught off guard when Master Garet shouted in my head. I tangled my whip to the tree's branch to avoid the cyclops attack. I swing to the air and kick its eye.

I know that I'm still preoccupied with the thought that Ice's still seen as a traitor from the other sections. I just don't get them. At first, they wouldn't believe that Celine Salvante made a ruckus in Demigods Academy and now, they think that Ice and Celine were in an alliance because they are cousins and that made them connected to the Titaness, Gaea.

But as her friend, I want to clear her name and prove her innocence. I need pieces of evidence to support my claim. Pero nagtatakha talaga ako. May mga pangalan 'yong mga binigay na weapons kina Aizen at Phoenix tapos 'yong akin wala. Tsk. Favoritism.

I felt body being teleported and with just a blink all of us were standing before Master Garet. "Dismissed, be back after lunch," he said. Nagpahuli ako sa kanilang lahat. After the attack in Demigods Academy, I feel left out in the Primus Section. "Sue... Wait, please remain."

"Master?"

"Zeus told me something." He said in a serious tone, "Even though I hate him I want to deliver his message."

"Same, I hate that dude too,"

He softly laughed, gwapo naman si Master sadyang mas matanda lang siya sa akin kaya hindi kami pwede— AGE DOESN'T MATTER. "He said that ask for his help sometimes,"

"I will." I wryly smiled.

"Before I forgot, it was Hera who chose that whip for you. She said that it suits you more than anyone." He sincerely said.

"Hera even said that you have the sky, the moon, the sun but only the lightning can strike and gives sparks that will connect others." He added. I was left speechless, Hera was never been fond of me. "Hera named that whip Perkunas Maximus." he smiled.

I was still left speechless. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang dapat kong sabihin, hindi ko rin talaga alam kung ano ang reaksyon na ibigay ko, "You know, the gods never fails to surprise us. Let me tell my story, my father, Hephaestus once arranged a marriage for me without my knowing. Do you how fuck up is that?"

"Well, yeah. Because the woman I love disappeared," he sadly smiled.

He suddenly laughed, "We love each other but we defy the rules of gods. And this is our payment,"

After the talk with Master Garet, I bid my goodbye.

I was walking in the hallway when I heard a familiar voice.

"Every day lumalakas sila... Malamang."

"Anong gusto mong gawin ko? 'Yon lang ba wala bang mas hihirap pa d'yan?"

"Si Sky? Tsk, of course, he is. Sue is being preoccupied now and that is making her weak. I cannot read Serena's movement."
