Macie ducks as Carter throws the towel and instead of it hitting her, it hits Mom in the face. I cover my mouth, trying not to laugh. Carter's face is a look of pure horror. Macie is trying not to burst out laughing. Mom pulls the towel off of her face and throws it back at Carter.
"Carter! Clean up this mess!" Mom scolds, gesturing to all of the dishes in the sink. Carter bows his head and shuffles over to the sink.
"Abbey, I need your help. I have a luncheon with my boss and I need your advice on clothes, hair, and makeup," Mom pleads. I nod, and Macie and I go upstairs to pick out an outfit.
"I think this blue dress will bring out Mom's eyes," I say.
"Yeah, but it'll make her seem really pale. I think we should go with the white dress," Macie argues.
"Umm, I don't know. It might mix with her blonde hair," I say. "How about the gold one?"
"Yeah, I can see it with a curly ponytail and a fake braid hair tie," Macie thinks.
"Sure! I can even see the gold eyeshadow, red lipstick, mascara, and eyeliner. Oh, and a pink blush," I gush. Macie looks at me and smiles.
"We've got good taste," she smiles. I smile back.
"Yes, we do, Macie," I grin.
