"Hey Abbey," Rachel smiled.
"Hey. Why'd you stop bye?" I asked.
"I don't know. I thought we could hang out, like we did before the boys came into our lives," Rachel shrugged.
"Yasss, that would be so fun!" I smiled.
"Oh, and I have news," Rachel giggled🤗
"You do?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I-" Rachel started.
"Hold on, we might want to go upstairs before one of my siblings whisks us into some sort of thing," I interrupted.
"Good idea," she laughed. We went up to my room.
"Okay, so what's the big news?" I asked.
"Well, Mom wanted me to live closer to school so I could walk, and you live close to school, so we're moving into your neighborhood! We're living in the house right across from yours!" Rachel exclaimed. My jaw dropped.
"Rachel, we're finally gonna be neighbors!" I exclaimed.
"And Jacob!" she squealed.
"Jacob?" I sighed.
"Yeah! It's gonna be great!" she exclaimed.
I kept my actual feelings about this kept inside. I wasn't thrilled with Jacob living near us. Sure, she and Jacob were dating, but I never got to see my best friend anymore😔
"It is gonna be great!" I lied. She smiled and called Jacob.
So much for girl time. Now it's girl and Jacob time.
