"Monster"

Lumunok ako.

Napakatahimik. Umalis na ba sila? I waited for a few minutes.

I unlock the door... but suddenly...

Tumawa sila. "Looks like she's already awake!"

"How's your dream, soft girl?"

They poured the water on me. Yinakap ko ang sarili at inangat ang tingin. I thought they already left.

The four of them laughed at me, Mindy and Sunny are in the right cubicle. Jessica and Lauren are on the left side.

Sinarado ko ang aking mga mata at umupo sa toilet. Nawala ang kanilang tawa nang sumirado ang pintuan ng bathroom. I felt the hot tears from my eyes. I thought I ran out of tears because I don't feel anything anymore.

I stayed in the cubicle for a few hours until I heard the school bell rang, which means that school is over. Hindi ako kumain ng lunch o snack, dahil ay nawalan ako ng gana.

I remain in the cubicle for a few minutes until I knew that everyone left. Dahan-dahan akong lumabas sa bathroom. Wala nang tao sa hallway. I sigh.

Nagsimula akong maglakad until I saw Jasper waiting outside of our classroom. Bakit nandito pa siya?

Yumuko ako at binilasan ang lakad, planong lalampasan siya. Pero bago pa ako yumuko, nakita na niya ako. At dahil diyan, naging marahan ang lakad ko.

He went to me and tried to hold me, but I stayed back. "J-Jasmine... Are you o-okay?"

Tumango ako. I tried to walk past him, but, suddenly, he held my hand. "I-I'm sorry.."

"I'm fine. Please... Don't talk to me." Dahan-dahan siyang tumango. "Let me go... I need to go." His hold weakened, and that's when I let go of his hand.

I immediately went to my room when I already home. Salamant naman, at hindi pa nakauwi si tita Cecil.

I took a hot bath and changed my clothes into a comfortable one. Hinayaan kong mahulog ang katawan sa kama. Parang ilang taon na ang nakalipas. I closed my eyes as the wind blew inside my room, it's peaceful. I did not realize that I fell asleep.

"J-Jasmine... A-Anong nangyari?"

I slowly open my eyes, but I can't open them. It's heavy. Naramdaman kong may humawak sa aking noo at leeg. I'm sweating so hard. I didn't turn on the air con? I tried to sit in the bed, but I can't. It feels like my body is heavy.

"You're burning, Jasmine." What? I know that voice.

"Jasmine..." It's tita Cecil. "Rest, Jas."

Umungol ako. I felt the pain all over my body, and I am sweating so hard. Ano ba ang nangyayari sa akin? Tumigil ako nang naramdaman ang malambot na bagay na dumapo sa noo ko. At dahil diyan, naging malalim ang pagtulog ko.

I woke up early in the morning. I sat in my bed, and that's when tia Cecil went in. She smiled at me, and I gave her a small one. I closed my eyes when her hand went to my forehead.

"Kumusta ka?"

"I'm fine."

She frowned. "Are you sure?"

Tumango ako. "Y-Yes." Dahan-dahan akong tumayo sa kama, at tinulongan niya ako. "I want to buy art materials."

She smiled. "Sure, darling."

"Salamat po, tia."

It's Saturday morning. I took a deep breath, and I started to walk. I choose to walk instead of riding the car. The fresh air fills in my nose, and because of that, I closed my eyes. It is so peaceful.
