"Alright everyone! Let's get started," Matt smiled, waving everyone onto the dance floor. It was my first dance class ever, and I was nervous to say the least.

There weren't many people here, I wasn't sure why. Matt Steffanina was a very popular choreographer, and a good one at that.

"We have a new student today guys, her name is Lexie! Let's help her feel welcome and help her out if she needs help with the choreo, yeah?" I smiled shyly as everyone waved at me, saying hello.

There was a certain boy standing near the mirror just staring at me. It made me feel uncomfortable, self-conscious. I gave him a small wave, not really expecting one back.

To my surprise, he waved back, a soft smile on his face. To be honest, he was really attractive, but I couldn't judge someone off their looks, right?

30 minutes into the class and I had already gotten half the choreography down. I was sitting on a stool drinking water, Matt and Dana were just helping out a couple of students who were behind.

Then, the boy from earlier came up to me, sitting on the stool right beside me. I had secretly been keeping an eye on him throughout the class, and he was really good.

"Hey," he greeted, smiling. "I'm Sean, you're Lexie, right?" He tilted his head to the side a little, he looked like an adorable little puppy.

"Yeah," I shyly smiled back. "You're really good." I exclaimed, letting my enthusiasm get the best of me. Sean gave me an amused look, smirking.

I turned my head to the side so he wouldn't see me blush. I had just admitted to watching him! I mentally slapped myself.

"Thanks, you're amazing." He complimented. I grinned. "You know Matt makes videos?" He asked, I nodded in response.

"Well, I think he's filming one at the end of class. We should be partners." Sean shrugged, biting his lip.

"Sure!" I smiled, standing up from my stool. He laughed at my excitement, and I immediately sat back down, looking at the ground.

"Sounds like a plan, Lex." Sean gave me one last smile before he stood up and walked away. Now that he mentioned Matts videos, I think I had seen him in a couple before.

I was swooning over a guy I barely knew, but I wanted to get to know him better.

Almost an hour and a half later, people were pairing up to be in the video. I hadn't seen Sean, so I assumed he went out to get some water or something.

"Hey Lexie, you got a partner, or are you dancing solo?" Matt asked, smiling at me. He was a really good teacher and I decided from then on that I would go to more of his classes.

"Well, this guy named Sean said we should be partners, but I don't know where he went." I replied, fiddling with my fingers.

"Oh, Sean! He's a great kid, he's been coming to my classes for years now. I actually think he just went to talk to Dana in the studios office, he should be back soon. You guys wanna go second to last?"

"Uh, sure," I answered. He replied with 'great', then walked to the front of the studio to get everyone situated.

Just then, I see Sean coming back into the studio. I bounced on my toes excitedly as he began walking towards me, a smile on his face.

"So I hear were going second to last?" Sean asked, a goofy grin on his face. I didn't even know his last name yet he was making me feel things I shouldn't be feeling.

"Yeah, I hope that's okay."

He chuckled. "Let's go sit down and wait our turn." He grabbed my wrist and started pulling me towards a corner.

We sat down and watched until it was our turn.

Nervous, I waited until the right time in the music to start dancing. Forgetting about Sean, and everyone in the class, I focused on trying not to trip on my own two feet.

We finished, and I don't think I messed up too badly. As the song ended, people started to cheer. I smiled widely as Sean pulled me into a big hug.

"You did amazing, Lexie!" He said in my ear, since everyone was shouting.

I chuckled, thanking him.

Soon class was over, and I didn't really want to leave.

"My rides here," Sean said as he came up to me with his things. I smiled sadly.

"Let's hang out sometime." He smiled, pulling me into a hug. As he pulled away, he looked me in the eyes, looking like he was contemplating on doing something. His eyebrows furrowed.

Just as we heard someone honk from outside, who I was assuming was his mom, Sean put his hands on my shoulders and kissed my cheek, smiling as he saw my shocked expression.

"Bye, Lexie."

Lol that escalated quickly. Hope you like it Allexcia1725 :)))
