19; Sean Lew

Feeling inspired, hope you all missed me ;)

     Dance had dragged on today. Usually, dance was the only part of Lauren's day that she looked forward to. She just wasn't feeling herself today, but only one person seemed to notice.
     "Are you alright today, Laur? I could have sworn I saw you stumble a few times, looking like you were going to pass out," Sean grimaced.
     "I'm fine, just got an overwhelming sense of vertigo a couple of times," she sighed. Sean was right, though. At one point he felt the need to tell someone about her dizziness because he thought she was literally knocking on deaths door. Over dramatic, but it was that serious.
     "You shouldn't have danced if you weren't feeling well. Want to come over to my place? I'll make your favorite," the taller boy smiled, his eyes crinkling slightly.
     Maybe it was the adorable look on Sean's face that made Lauren agree to come over, or maybe it was just because she loved his cooking. Either way, her mom allowed her to go, and soon enough they were walking through his front door.
     "So, shall I get started, or do you wanna do something first?" Sean asked, setting his backpack onto the ground.
     "You should get started," Lauren giggled, "what else is there to do in the Lew residence besides eat?"
     "Touché," he smirked. The older boy got to work on making the smaller girl dinner, something he genuinely loved to do. Not just cook, but cook for Lauren.
     He loved the way she sat on the barstool and watched him intently. He loved the way her feet didn't even touch the ground because she was just that small. He loved the way she greedily grabbed the plate out his hands once he was done because she was just that eager.
     "Slow down, or else you'll be throwing up all over my floors," Sean joked, resting his elbows on the island as he smiled at her lovingly.
     Lauren rolled her eyes playfully, setting her fork down as she took a drink of her water. "I seriously love you, and your cooking,"
     Sean couldn't help but smile. She was just so adorable. Once she was finished, he took her plate away and put it in the sink.
     "Let's watch a movie," he suggested, grabbing her hand and pulling her into the living room.
     They sat on the couch. A comfortable silence fell over them. Lauren had her head rested on Sean's shoulder, nearly falling asleep a couple of times.
     "Tired?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. The smaller girl just nodded, and Sean patted his lap, signaling for her to lay down on it.
     The movie continued, but Lauren had already fallen asleep because Sean had his fingers running softly through her hair. She flipped around so that her face was now facing his stomach.
     He couldn't help but admire her. Sean adored this girl. As he rested his hand on her cheek, he smiled at her sleeping face.
     Sean sighed contently. "My one and only."
