"Gabe, Kenneth, Will! Stop! Please don't tell him," I begged. The boys were just about to tell Josh that I liked him.
"We're not in middle school, you idiots. He's gonna think I'm crazy," I protested, but of course, they kept pushing passed people to get to Josh. He was talking to Sean.
"Josh!" Gabe yelled, grabbing the tall boys attention.
Josh nodded his head as they walked up to him. I quickly hid behind a corner to try and keep myself from getting embarrassed, ultimately failing.
I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I knew they were telling him. The boys started jumping up and down excitedly, and Josh had a weird look on his face that I couldn't read.
They started looking around confused, probably looking for me. In a split second, I was behind the corner, hoping and praying that they didn't see me. There were about 5 different scenarios running through my mind at the moment.
My heart was beating so fast. I waited about 20 seconds or so before taking a peek around the corner again.
They were all staring at me, smirks on their evil little faces. I hid behind the corner again, groaning loudly. I could hear them laughing. My cheeks were practically on fire. Having had enough of this, I took off in the opposite direction of them, without looking back.
"Wait! Lauren," it was Josh. I started walking faster, occasionally bumping into some people. My short legs were having a hard time picking up the pace.
Josh grabbed my arm, yanking me back and keeping me from walking out the door. I refused to look at him, embarrassed.
"Lauren," he said in a threatening tone, "why are you so embarrassed?" Josh chuckled. What did he mean by that?
"What do you mean? How can I not be embarrassed?" I rolled my eyes sarcastically. He still hadn't let go of my arm. I looked back at the other guys and glared at them. They had guilty looks on their faces.
"I mean, can't you tell? I thought it was obvious," Josh said. I finally looked up at him, and he had a slight smirk on his face.
"Josh, what are you talking about?" I asked, confused out of my mind. Was I really that oblivious? With one last smirk, he leaned down and kissed my cheek, and then he was gone.
I stood there dumbfounded. My cheeks were on fire, but I didn't care. Quickly, I scrambled over to the other guys, who also had smirks on their faces.
"You're an idiot," Kenneth joked, laughing along with the other boys. "It's so obvious he likes you. Remind me how you have a 4.0 GPA again?"
"It just didn't seem like it. I guess I can't really blame you morons then, right?" I giggled and rolled my eyes, my mood uplifted in seconds.
"Should I go look for him?" I questioned, my eyebrows furrowing. The boys shrugged, and I took that as a yes.
I took a deep breath and ran off to look for Josh, ready to confess my feelings, even if the boys had already outed me.

Okay, hey. I wrote this one a long ass time ago, I just decided to touch it up a bit haha. Feedback is always appreciated :)
