"6. I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping.

7. My eye wastes away because of grief; it grows weak because of all my foes. 8.Depart from me, all you workers of evil, for the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping.

9.The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord accepts my prayer.

10. All my enemies shall be ashamed and greatly troubled; they shall turn back and be put to shame in a moment. "

(Psalm 6:6-10 ESV)

"But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling to their playmates, All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

(Matthew 11:16, 27-30 ESV)

"The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord , have not forsaken those who seek you. Sing praises to the Lord , who sits enthroned in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds! For he who avenges blood is mindful of them; he does not forget the cry of the afflicted. "

(Psalm 9:9-12 ESV)

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people,"

(Titus 2:11 ESV)

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

(1 John 4:15 ESV)

I just love these verses!!!!

When i first started reading my Bible i chose to read Psalms and proverbs. Its like a cry for help and full of prayers to God. It shows you that even back in the day people had it really hard and they went to God for help and praised him no matter what.

Like Job for instance....

He had all this cattle, great family, healthy, loved the Lord... Well one day Satan asked God if he could test Job's faith. Satan was for sure he was goin to deny God or go against God. Well, Satan killed his kids, killed his cattle, made his wife turn on him, and was soon covered in boils. Even his wife came up to him and told him to just blame God and then die. Wow like ok..... Well what just AMAZES me is that even through every trial and twist Satan tried to throw at Job, he just still worshiped God and never wavered in his faith. In the end God blesses Job more abundantly. So he had another wife, more kids, even more cattle then before.

Every time i feel sad or just feel hopeless, i like to think of this Bible story and remember some things like

-I'm healthy

-I'm saved by Jesus

-i come from a good home

When feeling down or jealous just think of all the great things you have
