Why Do You Hide Yourself

Why, O  Lord , do you stand far away? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

In arrogance the wicked hotly pursue the poor; let them be caught in the schemes that they have devised.

For the wicked boasts of the desires of his soul, and the one greedy for gain curses and renounces the  Lord .

In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, "There is no God."

His ways prosper at all times; your judgments are on high, out of his sight; as for all his foes, he puffs at them.

He says in his heart, "I shall not be moved; throughout all generations I shall not meet adversity."

His mouth is filled with cursing and deceit and oppression;  under his tongue are mischief and iniquity.

  He sits in ambush in the villages; in hiding places he murders the innocent. His eyes stealthily watch for the helpless;

he lurks in ambush like a lion in his thicket; he lurks that he may seize the poor; he seizes the poor when he draws him into his net.

The helpless are crushed, sink down, and fall by his might.

He says in his heart, "God has forgotten, he has hidden his face, he will never see it."

Arise, O  Lord ; O God, lift up your hand;  forget not the afflicted.

Why does the wicked renounce God and say in his heart, "You will not call to account"?

But you do see, for you note mischief and vexation, that you may take it into your hands; to you the helpless commits himself; you have been the helper of the fatherless.

Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer;  call his wickedness to account till you find none.

The  Lord  is king forever and ever; the nations perish from his land.

O  Lord , you hear the desire of the afflicted; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear

to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, so that man who is of the earth may strike terror no more.

(Psalm 10:1-18 ESV)

This passage spoke to me when reading it. Often a lot of people get so damaged and feel neglected that they just shove God away. They feel like he doesn't hear them and favors others more.

I went through that faze and sometimes i still get these thoughts in my head like

"God do you really see me?"

"Do you really care"

"How can that person have everything and have it easy"

People all of a sudden just judge christians that they are little goodie goodie little servants of God that don't do wrong things and are appalled of doing bad unholy things.

Ya i know...

Some people act different around me b/c I'm a strong christian meaning i don't cuss or overly rude but I'm more humble and kind hearted and can control my anger. They tell their friends not to cuss around me or don't act their real selves around me. Honestly i don't care how you act just don't offend my God.

I don't like how people think christians are all the same.

It does aggravate me when i see a christian that is sleeping around and wearing skimpy clothes and cussing all the time because thats setting a bad example.

If someone isn't a believer in Christ and sees their christian friend acting the same way as them, then they don't believe they need to change or become a christian.

I know a lot of people who act all mean and snappy and very rude. I would like to consider to not judge that person so quickly because they probably are going through something very hard and don't want to seem hurt or shy so they put their mask on and act unlike them. Some people are just broken inside and God can heal you and sew you back up.

He took my snappiness and rudeness and darkness vibe from me and boy was i sooo stubborn!!!!

Uuhhh plzz don't be like me and push God away

God ABSOLUTELY loves you!!!!

No matter how much wrong you have done and pushing away, God is ready just waiting with open arms for you to finally give in to him.

I did

And there is NO regrets!!!!!!

Remember people reap what they sow

So if someone wrongs you, then someday God will get them back

Vengeance is Gods place not yours

If someone starts cussing you out, just take it and laugh and walk away. That will do more to that person b/c they are expecting you to cuss back and get up all in their face but when you ignore their pestering, then that ticks them off even MORE and then they have the reaping of what they did in the future.

God has your back.
