We arrived home quickly and I jumped out of the car and strolled down the driveway. My dad opened the door to let us in, causing our dog to fly out the door.

"Hi Dad!" I shouted as our dog came to greet us halfway up the driveway. I pet her head, saying, "Hi Gleam."

Gleam was our two year old Border Collie, trained in a bit of agility and a bit of frisbee, but she wasn't a competition dog. She could run darn fast though.

"How was school?" My dad asked as we finally got back to the door. Gleam had brought a stick from somewhere in the yard, so my dad had to pry it out of her mouth and hide it somewhere.

"Good, good," I said, smiling. I was pretty lucky to a have a sweet family: both parents working (my dad got home early today though),  everyone in harmony (most of the time) and overall security. I felt horrible for the people who didn't, and since I've heard about the families that are in discord, I've never taken my family life for granted.

Once we all got in the house and I started unpacking my backpack, my parents went on discussing where to eat. I checked the time, and it was only 3:20pm - we wouldn't be eating in a while.

As my dad went on reading reviews for nearby restaurants, I booted up my laptop (much quicker than the computers at school I might add) and plugged in my phone. It light up and soon after I got a text back from Jimin.

"The Top Hat is a nice place, they've got almost everything." he replied, adding, "And almost everyBODY."

I quickly texted back, "What do you mean "Everybody?" But I'll check it out. My parents wanna go somewhere for dinner."

"We sometimes go there after fancy events," He texted, "Or there's the pizza place nearby called The Ellipse." I laughed out loud, wondering whether the pizzas were actual ellipses. I looked up as my dad explained the options to go to. Not many stood out.

"What are you in the mood for?" My dad asked us, my mom quickly responding "Anything's fine, maybe some salad for me."

Why does she have to be so healthy? I asked myself. I was always stuffing my face at buffets and parties while she kept the conversation going.

"How about The Top Hat?" I asked, both of them turning towards me. My dad looked back at his phone to look it up.

"Sure, it's not too far." He said, nodding.

"However," I typed, "I am looking forward to what this year has prepared for me. Hopefully I'll learn more about..."

I sighed, taking my hands of my keyboard. This is so cheesy. I thought, staring at the page full of typing on my screen. I quickly checked the time, sighing. 4:00pm.

My phone lit up and I quickly picked it up and checked the messages. New number?

"Hey it's Namjoon." the new number said. Namjoon. Great, what do I put as the contact - RapMon or Namjoon? I texted back, "Hey what's up?"

A few seconds later a new message came in. "Nm, you?"

"Nothing really." I responded. "Oh also what do I put as your contact?"

"My name?" he replied.

I quickly sent him a confused message. ">-> but everyone has a stage name and a real name - what am I supposed to go by?"

"You can call me Namjoon," He responded, quickly adding, "If you want to,"

"Idk about the others, they have their weird nickname preferences." He continued.
