"I'll let her know you're here if I see her," I told him, BamBam nodding and already wandering around to look for Sayeon again. Jackson nodded at my response too, but his attention shifted towards Suho as he gave him a goodbye-fist-bump and joined BamBam on the hunt. When Jinyoung didn't talk to me as soon as they arrived and tried to follow the others, Yugyeom gave him a nudge towards me.
"Hey, Jinyoung," I said, giving him a wave in greeting. He smiled awkwardly, rubbing the nape of his neck.
"Didn't expect to see you here," he said, gesturing towards the amphitheater and towards the ground where we stood. I pointed behind me to where part of Bangtan stood, as well as holding up my bag.
"I performed with my dance class but also choreographed those nerds' dance, remember?" I asked with a little smile, surprised he had forgotten about my choreography "career" that he joked about few weeks ago. However, it seemed obvious he felt awkward about me seeing him at the festival. Did that mean he didn't want me to see him perform with his group? I smiled at his adorable shyness.
Jinyoung nodded, pointing towards Suho, who was probably trying to get my attention. He pointed towards my bubble tea yet again, and I handed it to him with a humored sigh. I made sure to watch him in case he were to dramatically spit it out or do any other possible disgusting thing.
When I glanced back towards Jinyoung for a second he gave me a raised eyebrow, interested in the situation. I didn't really attempt to answer, turning back towards Suho.
Once Suho took a simple sip and handed it back to me, he gave Jackson an eager pat on the side of the arm. "Watch this."
Although the direction was for Jackson, I still turned my head towards where Suho was walking. Jinyoung and Yugyeom did the same, Mark giving up on his attempts to get Jackson's attention and instead calling out to BamBam, doing a little jog to catch up to the younger man who was walking away.
Suho passed Namjoon and Taehyung's circle with a majority of his own group members. He went just past Suga, probably towards Lyra and Hoseok, Suga stopping him for a moment and they exchanged words, Suho giving a casual gesture towards where we were. He continued walking, pointing towards Suga as he walked towards us, mouthing something that I couldn't quite catch but Jackson laughed at and Jinyoung gave a little huff of amusement at.
"Hey," Suga said, his voice seeming a bit foreign, likely since he hadn't said much to everyone else after the performance ended.
"Hey," I replied simply, making a gesture towards the others. Jackson quickly introduced himself, though of course the two had already met.
"We're performing a bit later in the day, I hope you can stay to watch us! I promise it'll be good." he said, Suga giving a nod of understanding. When I glanced towards Jinyoung he seemed to immediately look away, focused on someone in the distance. Yugyeom noticed the same thing, pointing off into the distance and whispering something to him and Jackson.
"Oh, we should probably gather up our group," Jackson said to the two of us, seeming to reiterate what the other had likely whispered into his ear. He pat the side of Jinyoung's arm as he walked past him, increasing his pace. He pointed up the hill, adding, "C'mon before they get lost again,"
It seemed as though they were pointing towards two boys walking together down the path that wrapped around the hill, especially since they waved to them. The talk of their "group" reminded me of Sayeon's disappearance. I took out my phone, opening my chat with her. As I began typing I felt a bit self-conscious, remembering Suga was standing next to me. I typed a quick "Where are you?" before clicking off my phone, turning toward the boy.
