a/n: it's finally happening!!! // also unedited bc i have so much hw please save me

"Our next performance is by our up and coming, talented young group of boys, BTS!"

"You may have known them last year for their vocal performance, but now they're back with an all-out, triple threat performance to knock you off your feet!"

"That's us," Suga nodded with his own little smile, making Jin laugh a little bit. His laugh was caught on the nervousness that everyone had, but he seemed to nod with genuine reflection.

Taehyung making small movements with his forearms and hands, quite obviously being small segments of the choreography crushed into small movements that wouldn't look too outrageous to be doing off stage as practice. I couldn't help but smile at his cute perseverance, everything well timed with the music that likely played in his head and that I could hear in my own head as well. When he noticed I was watching he immediately slowed down his movements, turning them into more "natural" movements which honestly looked more awkward. When he realized he wasn't convincing enough he puffed up his cheeks with a smile.

"If you want you can add your own little spices to the dance, you know. It's not all set in stone... as long as you stay in the beat and don't confuse the others it's all for effect." I said softly, leaning in by his ear so he would hear me over the MC's voices that were loudly projected out towards the audience.

Taehyung gave a little laugh, seeming to not like the idea. "I can't dance..." he replied back, giving a light laugh to himself.

My face dropped to one of disbelief (which probably looked like every level of "ew") and I squinted towards him, questioning his sobriety.

"Teach me?" he squeaked, tilting his head with a cute plead and smile. I ruffled his hair in response, making him let out a loud "Hey!" as he brushed down his hair with the palm of his hand. "First you change the choreography right before we go on stage, and then you mess up my hair?"

"You look good with ruffled hair." I replied simply, Namjoon turning around towards us and pointed at the announcers.

"Today they're performing their own original song, 'Blood, Sweat and Tears',"

Jungkook let out a small whoop of excitement, turning the members heads towards him with a small unified laughter.

"Let's welcome them on stage!" the other announcer said, giving our side of the stage a large gesture. Namjoon whispered "We've got this," as he moved out of the way, letting the younger members go out first and stand in front where they were supposed to be for the beginning position of the song. I shot them small signs of encouragement as they went up too, hoping they weren't too distracting. I gave Taehyung's head a pat as he jogged his way on stage which resulted in him spinning around, walking backwards to center stage with his tongue stuck out at me. When he spun back around Jimin had to duck under the younger's swinging arm, letting out a humored laugh and saying something to him that I wasn't able to interpret from off stage.

Hoseok was behind them and gestured for Jin to follow him, which seemed keep him at ease after being given directions.

"Good luck guys," I said, getting both Suga and Namjoon's attention before they began their entrance on stage. Namjoon gave a nod, Suga seeming less accepting. I remembered what he had said earlier, adding on, "Not that you'll need it. Go up there and show them what you've all got."

I didn't want to be an intense hype woman, and I'm pretty sure both of them appreciate the words more than the volume of them. I looked past the two, seeing the others glancing towards us as they waited. It hadn't been very long, and the audience was still cheering to welcome them on stage, but I gave them a little shoo to hurry them on stage.
