Kaylie
I had been offline an accidentally rewrote chapter 6, so this is an Alternate. Both have the same outcome though, just a rewording.
I gasped for air as I recovered from flying out of the now gone Water Wolf. I was Dazed and tired. I saw the boat, overturned, with about 200 candidates left. I couldn't see Corin or Jay anywhere. I had to get back. I had landed on the opposite side of the Wolf, and had been thrown out farther away. I had to focus, I had to use my Nen. I dreaded magic, for my reasons. I thought deep and hard about my frie- "Gah!" I was soaring through the water, and I couldn't stop myself. I was going to die.
Corin
"First of all, I don't want friends. Second, You probably killed my twin.-" Jay interrupts. "We have tons in common, and if I killed her I would've felt it. I swear she's not dead. She can't be."
"I'd never be your friend. Ever. I don't hate you, but I'll never like you."
Sure, That was harsh. He won't give up though. I thought to myself.
Thud. "What was that?" Jay asked.
"No, who was it."
"Huh?"
"Kaylie."
"Told you I didn't kill her."
Jay says back. I want to hit him, but I won't. I take out my only weapon- Grappling Hooks.- I pull her out of the water. Her face is covered in blood. I hope it looks worse than it is. We heave her the rest of the way. Too late we realize her chest wasn't moving.
