All Alone

I'm all alone in this world
Even the person who is closest to me
Doesn't get me right now
She says it is harder on her
But that is an obvious lie
I'm the one losing everything
Not her
She won't talk about it
Scared to cry and think of it
Well I need to cry and feel
It's the only way I know I'm alive
Everything is so dark now
I just need to keep checking
Making sure my heart beats
My lungs breathe
Even though she knows me
She doesn't really know me
Nobody gets you really
Why are people scared
Scared to feel pain and sorrow
When we feel it every single day
They can't even deal with the thought
How could they survive in our shoes
They would just kill themselves
It happens to others all the time
But we are stronger than them
We were born with it
Made to overcome it
We're all alone in this world
Never rely on anyone for help
For support and strength
They will quit on you
But you won't quit on yourself
Remember that you are alone
But others may bring a smile
Even for a second it is worth it
The joy is worth all the pain
At least for some...
