We're both scared of it
Wishing it to never come
But even the greatest things in life
Must come to an end
So when we shed those tears
And say our good-byes
Please just let me go
There is no stopping life
It is how it is
And we have to accept it
Please make it easy on me
And let me go without a fight
If you hold on to me
We both shall fall
But letting go means we stand tall
I'll see you again some day
Let my body go
But hold me close in your heart
Don't waste your time crying
That won't help us
Stay strong for yourself
And for me
Whenever you cry I cry too
And I hate seeing you cry
So let's help each other through this
And stay strong for one another
No tears after I'm gone
You have to be strong
Even if I'm a thousand miles away
Your always in my heart
Life can torture us forever
But we'll be in each other's hearts
Until we lay deep down in the dirt
You're my other half
Without you I'm an incomplete mess
But even friends like us
Must say good-bye eventually
No matter how much we dread it
Our day shall come
Tears will fall, hearts will break
But life is nothing but
Good-bye...
