Nobody really gets me
My family isn't like me
They get mad and upset
I get depressed
Depression is different from anger
It is more complicated
Depression can physically hurt you
Sometimes it can drive you insane
Anger and sadness are emotions
Depression is a state of mind
Hard to escape without help
And sometimes nobody helps
Anger is managed
Sadness is cheered
Depression is more difficult
You can take meds that might work
They aren't always garenteed
When it can't be controlled
Depression can lead to suicide
Some people can fight it
Others can barely take a moment
Or if you're like me
You realize people to live for
Your family keeps you going
Your friends help momentarily
Depression isn't fun
But it doesn't have to be deadly
You may suffer constantly
But sometimes it is worth it
Worth enjoying the little moments
Anger and sadness may be different
But they don't help you
Help you see the good moments in life
Depression means living in darkness
But that makes the little moments
Even more specially and memerable
Victory can be worth the battle
