soraru's p.o.v.
"Soraru-san!" A small voice calls from our so-called kitchen.
I walk over to the source of the sound, "Yes, Lon?"
"Can you look for Mafu? He's probably outside by the cave again doing his usual spell training and it's almost dinner." She says as she walks around with different ingredients.
"Okay." I sigh as I scratch the back of my head, walking out of the small makeshift house we stay in.
I walk over to the small cave where me and Mafu would usually train, and silently entered. "Mafu..?"
I hear small muttering coming from inside, Casting a spell at this time..?
I go closer and closer to see that Mafu is indeed casting yet another spell.
I was about to call him but I stopped when I saw white glowing around him.
He continues to chant and the glow grows stronger, causing me to shield my eyes from the brightness.
Once the glow died down a bit, I thought Mafu's spell had failed yet again, but I was wrong this time.
I remove my arm to see that Mafu has casted a spell where he's surrounded by stars.
My eyes widen a bit in awe as he floats a bit from the ground.
He takes a deep breath, and from what it looks like, He's preparing to beat.
Once he starts swinging his arms to a beat, a small, piano-like sound echoes from the stars.
As he continues to, he twirls around while beating, creating a peaceful melody.
Beautiful.. I lean onto the wall of the cave, crossing my arms as he continues to play music.
He continues to spin and dance along, swaying his arms to the beat of the melody.
He smiles as his eyes glow white, creating more stars.
He giggles a bit before making the melody slightly louder, swinging his arms a bit more while doing so.
I smile at the sight, He's having a lot of fun, huh..
The mage starts to hum along to the melody and continues to beat until he's floating to the top of the cave.
The melody comes to a stop with the last small high note, and he begins to float down, eyes closed.
As he finally lands, he opens his eyes and smiles widely. "That was great.."
I clapped loudly, making my presence known to him. He suddenly looks at me, "Soraru-san?"
I continue to clap slowly while walking over to him. "That was a nice show, Mafu."
He blushes a bit and averts his gaze. "Tha-Thank you.."
I walk in front of him to ruffle his hair. "It was amazing. How did you learn that?"
"I've been playing around with stars since I was a kid, so I've gotten used to it." He smiles at me, then pouts a bit. "It takes a lot of energy, though "
I smiled at his small reaction. "The next time you do these, call me. I don't want to miss these kinds of shows."
He looks at me with wide, shiny eyes. "Really?"
"Of course. Maybe I could also invite the whole guild too." I slid my arm around him, giving him a small hug.
His smile widens even more before nodding a lot. "Yes yes! Please do!"
"Now c'mon. You don't want to miss Lon's cooking, right?" I smirk.
"Ah yeah! Wait, I need to get my bag!" He runs over to his bag and slid it on.
"Bye Mafu~ You'll get her cooking next time~" I jokingly call as I start walking fast back to the house.
"Eh?!" He shrieked, running towards me. "Wait, Soraru-san!!!"
"It'll be finished by nooow~!!" I call, sprinting back.
"Soraru-san is so unfair!!!" He yells as I chuckle, racing him to the house.
