soraru's p.o.v.
"Mafu!!" I yell, his small voice echoing as I climb up the crater.
"Soraru-san?!" I look up, He sounds so far away..
I grunt as I finally reached the top. "Mafu, where are you?!"
I run a bit around, trying to get closer to his voice. "Soraru-san!!!"
"Mafu!!" I shout, slightly tripping on a few pebbles.
As I ran, a bell suddenly chimed behind me. Huh?
I turn around, confused. I walk a little forward, and stopped. Unsure of what to do next, I slowly raise up my hand.
A bell chimed once more, and it was suddenly twilight.
As I blinked, I find myself back in my own body, staring at Mafu's confused face.
I slowly smiled, "Mafu.."
"Soraru-san..!!" He starts to cry as he runs up to hug me, making me let out an 'oof!' as he collided into me.
"There, there.. It's okay.." I pat his back affectionately as he sobs onto my shoulder.
"I can't believe that I.. disappeared..! How did you find me..?" He says, sobbing between every word.
I slowly pulled his shoulders away from me, "I drank your sake."
As i replied, his face turned really red and he pushed me away. "Why did you- Pervert! Idiot!"
"Eh?!" I emitted as he labelled me those words, confused.
He slowly hugs himself, "Mafuteru-chan even said that He sees me raising my shirt up every morning.."
"Every morning- that was only once, I swear!" I say as I turn beet red, being found out by Mafu's younger brother.
He stares at his feet, and slowly at me. "Really?"
Seeing that look on his face, I averted my gaze. "Nn." He's too cute...
"Ah, which reminds me," I start to remove a red thread from my weist, handing it over to him. "You visited me too early, idiot."
He gasps a bit as he gets it back. "You kept it.."
"Why wouldn't I?" I chuckle as he ties it around his neck, a small ribbon that looks simillar to his brother's.
He smiles, and looks at me. "Does it look okay?"
He even twirled a bit, adding up more to the cute factor. "It's, uhh...." Cutecutecutecutecute---
"It suits you." I say as I cover half my face with my hand, trying to hide my blush.
He notices, "Ehhh? Soraru-san, you're lying aren't you?"
I gasp, "E-Eh? I'm not, I'm not!"
"Hmph!" He pouts and crossed his arms, looking away from me. Seconds later, he bursts out laughing.
His laughter was so contagious that I start to giggle myself, smiling widely.
After a while, I spoke up. "Mafu, don't forget; You still have a lot to do."
I look to my side, Mafu doing the same, and see the comet arriving.
"It's so close.." He says as he hugs himself, shivering from the thought that he had died.
I stare at him for a bit, before pulling out a small sharpie. "Mafu, give me your hand."
He emitted a small 'Eh?' as he complied to my request.
I start to write on his palm, "We should write each others' names so that when we wake up, we wont forget."
I finish, and lend him the pen. He looks up, and smiles as he nods.
He draws a line on my hand, and then-
Clack!
..Huh?
I look up, and Mafu's no longer there.
I slowly picked up the pen, and tears start to form in my eyes.
"Mafu.." I say as I held the pen close to my heart. "Mafu.. Mafu, Mafu, Mafu.."
I glare up at the comet. "I will never forget you. Your name is Mafu. You're the most precious person to me. You taught me a lot of things."
A thought suddenly came into mind, and I hurriedly wrote down Mafu's name.
But when I drew a single stroke,
"..Eh?"
What was I doing?
Why am I here?
I feel like something is missing..
"What was.. Your name?"
