She was both relieved and horrified at her actions. Relieved because Chapin realized she might like, like Lewis. Horrified because this is just one of the many mistakes she has made so far.

The two were frozen in shock on the couch. Only a few seconds after Chapin had started the kiss, was when Lewis woke back up to reality. He dropped the bat and placed his hands on the other's shoulders, then pushed her away forcefully.

Chapin ended up at the other end of the couch, also in a daze. Her cheeks were flushed a deep red. Lewis looked startled at her. They made eye contact, and neither spoke.

It was about twenty minutes later when Lewis finally stood up. He picked up the wooden bat, and walked upstairs. A few minutes later, Joakim came downstairs with the bat, looking just slightly confused.

Fortunately, Chapin wrapped up in a blanket and pretended she was asleep on the couch.

The next morning, the two avoided eachother like the plague. It was safe to say that they had no intention of spreading their little 'secret'. The punishment was still on, so no one even acknowledged Chapin. They did notice the fact that she would look uncomfortable whenever Lewis came into the room. But they didn't say anything.

Caleb still stayed in his room, refusing to eat anything. The group saved the last two cans for Caleb, when he decided to eat or when they'd have to force him to. They also discussed the food situation. Everyone gathered in the living room.

"What should we do for the food?" Liam asked.

"I don't know. Unless anyone knows what plants are edible or not, I'm not sure how we're going to survive." Zoey said.

"We will survive. We just need to find a way to." Hannah said.

"I know," Chris said. Everyone turned to him. "We could hunt."

Everyone looked surprised, and some were about to argue, but thought they thought it over more. Eventually, someone spoke.

"How are we supposed to do that? We're just a bunch of gamers..... well, used to be." Liam said.

"It could work, though. Isn't that what happened in the Walking Dead game? They hunted for food, although it was rare?" Hannah said.

"Sure. But what're we supposed to hunt with? We only have some wooden bats and crowbars. I don't think we can hunt with those." Joakim said.

"We can find a way. What about that knife from before? Do we still have that? Maybe we can make some spears?" Chris suggested.

Everyone thought for another moment.

"That," Lewis said. "Might actually be a good idea."

And they got to work. That afternoon the group went outside and collected branches from the trees. They couldn't help but notice that Ryder's grave was covered in blossoms from the cherry blossom tree.

The group, Chapin just tagging along even if they're ignoring her, walked to the outline of the backyard. Trees grew just on the outside of the fence, and their branches grew over it, and hovered the back fence. The group broke long, sturdy branches off.

"Hey, guess what guys." Chris said with a smirk.

"What?" Liam asked.

"I got wood." Chris said. Everyone laughed.

"Oh, the lamest yet funniest Minecraft joke. Never gets old." Zoey said, chuckling.

They collected the branches and went back in the house, chuckling all the way in. Chapin gave up after the joke and went back in the house. The only good thing about the punishment is that she can do anything.
