Hey guys/gals! My names Kathy and I work at UCSD's café. I have dark brown hair and brown eyes. I guess I'm pretty. My friends tell me that all the time. Anyways, I was working cashier when I saw a scrawny, yet cute guy walk in.

He was covered in oil though. "Probably an engineering major," I thought. He ordered 5 coffees and I looked at him weirdly. He took notice and laughed. "Four of them are for me; I haven't been sleeping.
Working on a project. The other one is for my girlfriend." My hopes sank. He looked like my type. "No, I understand," I said," I'm a environmental chemistry major. It doesn't sound stressful but it is." His face lit up. "My girlfriend is also taking that! Do you know Calypso?" I instantly knew who he was talking about. She was shy, but beautiful. She was easy to get along with once you knew her. She was one of my best friends. "Yeah! She's my best friend! My name's Kathy!" He looked like he was thinking then said, "Oh yeah... She's talked about you. Just warning you, she's playing matchmaker with our friends and you're her next target.

Oh, no. I thought she was done putting me other people. Apparently Leo had a sibling that was my type.

"Watch out," he said, "She's teaming up with Piper." I'm dead. Calypso told me about her. "Well nice meeting you!" I told him. "You too." He replied. Before he got his order Calypso came in and said "Leo did you tell her about my... Plans?" Leo looked scared. "Maybe?" Calypso sighed and kissed him on the lips. And I squealed. They were so cute! Calypso looked at me and shook her head. "Piper rubbed off on someone and all I did was tell Kathy about her. New record Piper."

We all laughed and we hung out during my break. Then, we walked out to the structural engineering area and met Leo's half-brother, Jake. We hit it off and he asked me out a week later. Later, I learned about the mythology world when Jake and I became engaged. And it turns out, my mom's a legacy of Demeter!
