Ok, I'm still trying to update more. Sorry for the wait.

I never liked my family. Well, "family." They always criticize me about my personality. Every single time they do, I want to scream at them, "WELL DID YOUR PARENTS DUMP YOU AT A ADOPTION CENTER!" Unfortunately, I can't do that. You see, they adopted me and if I did something like that, they would "return" me and I would have no where to go. But one day, I snapped

"Cass! It's dinner time!" Sadie yelled, making me even more furious. "Just I sec," I yelled back, "I still have homework."

"Get down right now or you won't get any dinner!" She yelled back.

Groaning, I stood up and walked down stairs and sat down at the dining table. We ate in silence. I was still thinking about past events that had happened a few days before on the last day of school. I finished my food quickly, before Sadie and John could yell at me and walked back upstairs, ignoring their comments. Slamming the door, I fell straight onto my bed and looked at my phone. Countless messages from my friends on group chats showed up and I unlocked my phone and read all of them. Recently, the guy I liked had gone missing and our entire school was freaking out. There were rumors going around that he had ran away from home and evidence from the news had confirmed it. After looking up stories on him, I was convinced something had happened to him. something unusual... I believed I had like him, but after I had convinced myself I did, I knew that it wasn't true. It was a different type of affection. I slowly got up from my bed and sat back my desk, slightly deflated because of the sight of the amount of homework my teachers had assigned over the summer. I sighed and got to work.

I heard the door open and I turned to face my "mom."

"What." I said with venom.

"Well, since your birthday is tomorrow, and you're turning 16, I guess I should tell you something..." she said hesitantly.

"Yeah?" I asked. I had forgotten that it was my birthday tomorrow.

"Well, I know your birth mom, and she told me to tell you something when you turned 16." Sadie told me.

"Wait, you knew her?" I asked a little offended and angry that she didn't tell me earlier.

"Well, her name was Sarah. She had asked the shelter who had adopted you and while you were away at school about 2 years ago and came by. She explained everything to us and we totally understood. Cassandra, your father was a god."

I stood there, processing what she just said. I personally was atheist. "But which God? There're like 500000000 different religions."

"He was a Greek god. One of the Olympians."

Once again, stunned silence.

"You're trolling me. They're myths."

"I wish, but no. Monsters had tried to get you ever since you were little, but this house was blessed be your father to ward them off."

"Which Olympian god was he?"

"That's something you have to find out for yourself. I called Camp Half-Blood to send some people to pick you up."

"Wait, so you just drop this on me and you're going to send me off to some camp?"

"Cass, no. It's a special camp. Specifically for demigods like you. They can protect you and you can learn the necessary skills you need as a demigod or half-blood."

"Oh. Wait, there are more demigods?!"

"Yes and you guys all have dangerous lives."

"If there's a ward on this house, why can't I just stay here?"

"I always thought that too. But the ward is fading. Something has happened to your father. He lost power it seems and the mark he left on this house is slowly disappearing."

"Oh. But can I still visit or go to school?"

"Of course. The campers coming will explain more. Now go up and pack everything you need for camp."

I ran upstairs and packed. I was in the middle of packing my toiletries when the doorbell rang. I quickly finished packing and ran downstairs. There were three people at the door. A ruggedly handsome blond guy, an extremely pretty brown haired girl with eyes that seemed like a kaleidoscope of colors, and a scrawny cute guy with brown curls. They introduced themselves as Jason, Piper, and Leo. It was obvious that Jason and Piper were dating, but Leo didn't seem like a third wheel.

"Are you ready?" Jason asked, "because with four demigods all at the same place, ward or no ward, it's gonna attract monsters."

"Ya let me go get my stuff." I replied.

I ran upstairs and got my bag and told Sadie goodbye and left with the three other demigods in a strawberry van to Camp Half-Blood.

I'll let you guys decide what happens to her in your brains, mostly because I'm too lazy to write more. But, ya. I don't know, like her finding someone at camp and starts dating, stays year-round, or just summer. And totally disregard that she just left the school and that guy she liked because.... actually, sometime I'll write another part to her. Comment if you want another part about her camp life.
