AKKK IM SORRY I HAVE HOMEWORK NOW!! (Well at least that's due the next day)

"Please, please, please..." I whispered, tip-toeing out of my cabin, the moon the only source of light. I could see the stars twinkling above my head as I made my way to the woods. "Finally!" I thought, taking the final step, out of the camp boarders. Just as my foot touched the dirt, I felt something tug me back and I groaned.

I turned to glare at the taller boy. He just smiled and draped his arm around my shoulders. "You promised you would stay, Death Boy." Will grinned. I rolled my eyes and tried to ignore him as we walked back towards camp. "You can't fool me you know. You try every week and it's kinda obvious when you're gonna try to leave... Are you ignoring me?" He laughed. I turned my head but this time was to hide the faint blush forming on my cheeks. I quickly ran back to my cabin and got into bed again.

Two weeks later

"WILL, STOP!" I yelled, as he dragged me once again back towards camp. "Nope." He replied. Then I got an idea in my head.

"No shadow traveling." Will said in a serious tone. "I know what you're thinking."

I mentally groaned and went back into bed. I watched as Will went back to his cabin and immediately climbed out of bed and ran towards the boarder again. I felt the sensation as I passed the boarder, no one stopping me this time. The sensation of freedom. The sensation of joy. I grinned, realizing I would never hurt anyone or be hurt again.

Will's POV
It's been weeks since the night Nico had left. Weeks since I had smiled. I felt tears running down my face, and I wiped them away. I should've stopped him. I should've known. I felt myself get deeper and deeper into depression as the one I loved ran further and further away from me.

Nico's POV
I heard a howl. The lonesome howl of a wolf. But the longer it was held out, others joined in, allowing the lost wolf to return to the pack. I looked around me. The walls of the cave blocked out any light, but the fire I had built kept the shadows at bay. I had felt the joy of freedom the first week I had been out, but as it faded, a new feeling had replaced it. I couldn't put my finger on it, but I knew it wasn't a positive feeling. Nothing I did seemed to help. I wasn't hungry, thirsty, or anything. The last time I felt this way was... was when Bianca died. It hit me like a sledgehammer. I was feeling the pain of loss again. Tears dropped down my face after my realization. I knew why I felt it. I regretted it, but I knew there was nothing I could do. The loss of Will Solace had broken me.

Will's POV
I wouldn't eat. I wouldn't drink. I wouldn't get out of bed. The bed I had set up in Nico's cabin. I lost the feeling of happiness, remorse filling its place. I heard the cabin door open.

"Kayla, I already told you, I'm not in the mood for any food." I muttered. But I was supervised to see it was Hazel who had opened the door.

"Hey, I heard about Nico, so Reyna and I got her as fast as we could." She smiled sadly.

"It's already been a month. He's gone." I whispered.

"Will, you really love my brother don't you." She asked gently.

"Yeah, and he's never coming back."

"Will, if you love him, go find him."

"It's no use!" I snapped, "He's gone and it's all my fault!"
