IM SO HAPPY THIS YEAR IS OVER!!
Every year, Camp Half-Blood has a full blown New Years party to celebrate the lives of the people who had died that year. Everyone joined, even the half-bloods that weren"t year round. Keep The campers sit on the hills, dancing, kissing, and watching the light and fireworks show that the Hephaestus cabin sets up.
This year, they celebrated the defeat of Gaea and the reunion of Percabeth. It also included the camps' peace treaty and the relationships that are to grow. It was so big that even the nymphs and naiads joined in, partying with the Greek and Roman demigods. The celebration wasn't as big as Times Square, but it was a close second. The shows that cabin 9 put up displaying the biggest scenes of 2016, like when Annabeth judo flipped Percy after kissing him. Percy's had turned red after hearing the laughs of his fellow demigods. But reunions continued to happen during the party...
"YO PERCE!" Grover yelled as he jumped into Percy's arms.
"DUDE I HAVENT SEEN YOU IN SO LONG!" Percy replied, hugging the goat boy back. "How are you and Juniper?"
"Great!" Then he leaned in closer, "I'm planning on proposing later."
"Really?!?" Percy whisper screamed. "I'm so happy for you man!"
As Grover told Percy his plan, Annabeth watched from a distance. But, soon after, the light show began and she pulled Percy along to watch it with her. Grover watched them go, Annabeth sitting in Percy's lap, his arms wrapped around her. A sad smile formed on his face once he realized how much everyone has grown.
The night continued on and as the clock struck 12, Grover went down on one knee, couples kissed, and everyone celebrated the start of a new year, the lives of the dead, and the relationships that were built.
