This is an alternative ending. This starts off where the last part starts off. Same story and words until Will's POV so just skip through if you've just read the other ending. The other part was the original but for those who wanted a happy solangelo ending...

RECAP

He brought me to the pond.

He looked extremely nervous.

"So why did you bring me here?" I asked, my voice prominent in the silence of the night.

His voice was soft and quiet. "There's something i want to tell you..."

He laughed without humor. "I don't even know how to say it."

"Nico... I'm not human..."

Normally I would've just played it off as a joke, but Will's face has no hidden humor in it. He was dead serious.

I gulped. "Then what are you?"

He didn't say anything. He just opened his mouth, and I understood.

There were two prominent teeth, sharp and long compared to the rest. I don't understand why I haven't noticed it before.

"I grind them. But they grow back in a day," He explained, as if already knowing my question.

I didn't say anything. I didn't say anything for the entire rest of the walk back.

He didn't come the next night. Or the one after. And I didn't really care.

~

I haven't been in the same mindset as I usually was lately. Granted, I did just figure out vampires apparently existed and the one guy I had been falling for turned out to be one.

I groaned and rolled out of bed. It was time for daily activities, like capture the flag and whatever other things they want us to do.

I brushed my teeth and looked at my reflection. I looked terrible.

Sunken eyes, pale skin, and greasy hair. My resemblance to a stereotypical vampire was almost funny.

My feet dragged as I reluctantly walked to the center of the camp.

Days just seem so much longer lately.

A flash of blond caught my eye and I spun towards it. Blond hair, blue eyes, different face. I silently chided myself for even thinking that. And of course my luck, the guy turned to look at me.

"You okay man? You look startled by me." He laughed lightheartedly.

"Yeah, sorry, I thought you were someone else."

"It's fine."

We continued the small talk. Jason, as I had learned, was a grade above me.

"Nico! You made a friend!" Bianca's taunting voice called from my left.

"Ha, ha, very funny."

Jason and I walked together, talking about our hobbies and interests. We didn't really have much in common, but I needed something or someone to keep my mind off of Will.

Jason looked so similar to him, it almost hurt.

Jason and I were put on different teams so I decided to go off on my own and not really participate in the game.

Leaves crunched under my feet, the sound contrasting to the quietness of the forest.

I heard footsteps and I turned, expecting to see someone from school.
