OK FIRST THINGS FIRST, THANKS TO @MissGreekGeek   FOR THE CHARACTER!

I walked out of class, my wavy chestnut hair down with a bow. It was my signature accessory, but I had Piper to thank for that. She's usually a chill person who doesn't really care about appearance, but occasionally, she has these little fan girl moments or sees something that was cute and have me or herself try it on. And so, for my birthday, she got me a 8 pack of bows, which I eventually came to love.

"Autumn!" A voice called out. I turned to see Piper, and slowed down so she could catch up. Once she was by my side, I noticed that she was way more bubbly and smiley today. Well, I guess, more like me. But don't get me wrong, I have a dark side. Kill off my favorite book character, and you'll find out. Anyways, I decided that it was because she brought lunch today and she didn't have to eat the mush like food from the cafeteria. We talked about a new book that we had agreed to read together. Piper was dyslexic and honestly couldn't read unless it was a word a minute, so I encouraged her to get audible, an app where you can buy audiobooks. (Promise, I'm not a YouTuber whose sponsor is squarespace or audible) We decided to read To Kill a Mockingbird since everyone says it's really good and we felt guilty about not reading it. We kept talking until the topic turned into relationships. Piper does ship people mind you. People seem to think she's a tomboy, but she's got a side to her, like I said earlier. She's trying to set me up with this guy she knows named Mitchell or something. She was describing him to me when someone slipped in next to us. Piper didn't seem to notice, so I gave him a quizzical look. I hadn't seen him around before. Piper noticed my expression and asked, "What?"

Then she turned and gaped. "Nico! Why are you here?!" She hugged him and I gave her a quizzical look. Yes, I'm confused a lot don't judge.

"Is he your boyfriend or something?" I asked.

They both started laughing. I was sure Piper said something about having a boyfriend and she usually doesn't hug random boys...

"No, he's more of a creepy gay best friend." Piper laughed.

"You didn't have to say creepy." 'Nico' said defensively.

Piper introduced him as Nico, a friend from camp. He was going out with a guy named Will. Piper and Nico apparently had a shaky relationship before but ever since Piper convinced him to talk to Will, they're an inseparable pair. We continued talking until the bell and we went our separate ways. Nico was only visiting for that one period and left soon after. But Piper was surprised when Nico visited, so why was she so smiley today?

Still never got my answer. It's been like 3 periods and we've had a test/quiz in two of them and she still seems so happy. Even I was dampened, usually sparkling emerald green eyes dull. I was so tired. I just wanted to go home and lie on my bed for hours.

The end of the school day soon came and I met Piper outside and she seemed happier than ever.

"Everything good? You seem weird. Even to me." I asked.

"Yeah, sorry, I'm just excited. You'll see why." She responded, eyes on the road, which I found weird since she usually walked home, complaining about the LA heat before she set off.

I stood there thinking, spacing out until Piper pulled on my sleeve and ran to a casual-looking car which was weird enough since her dad was super rich and whenever she got picked up, it was from a flashy car that everyone gawked at. The car parked and three guys came out. The guy who was driving was a classic blond hair and blue eyes, cute, but not my type. The second which sat in shotgun looked kind of similar, could've been the other guy's brother, but was a little less buff? And instead of a intense vibe, he have off a relaxing and calm one. The third was the one and only Nico which smiled at Piper's surprised face. I stood awkwardly as they hugged each other. And of course, Piper turned and kissed the buff blond guy. He put and arm around her and smiled at me. "You must be Autumn. Heard a lot about you from Piper."

"Yeah, nice to meet you. I'm just gonna take a guess and say you guys are dating."

"Haha yeah." He replied, looking at the girl in his arms.

They both smiled, staring at each other until the other blond guy cleared his throats and they turned to look at him.

"Yeah, sorry for those two lovebirds. The guy, is Jason. I'm Will. Nice to meet you. And I assume you've already met Nico?"

"Nice to meet you too. Yeah I met Nico earlier today. So, is this how they always act?" I asked.

"Yeah kind of. It's nasty." Nico stepped in.

"Aw, but you love it when we act all lovey dovey." Will mused.

"That's different!" Nico defended.

"How exactly?" Will asked, smirking and leaning forward.

"Um..." Nico blushed and looked away.

"Hypocrite." Jason muttered.

We all burst out laughing as Will glared at Jason.

We kept talking until I noticed my dad's car waiting and I waved goodbye and started for my car. The last I saw was the two couples smiling, hugging, kissing, and laughing. If what they had wasn't love, I want what they have.

UMMMMM SORRY I GOT CAUGHT UP IN EVERYTHING. WHOOPS. BUT I ALREADY HAVE THREE OTHER DRAFTS ALMOST DONE SO HOPEFULLY ILL WORK ON THOSE. THANKS FOR READING! LOVE YOU GUYS❤
