I looked around the train station and smiled. It was my fifth year, and was I glad to be back. It wasn't that I wanted to get away from my family. I love them all, James the most. Probably because he's my twin. But coming back to Hogwarts meant I could get away from his friends. That was what excited me most. 

I didn't hate all of James's friends. I liked Remus, Remus Lupin, the most. You see, he had something called common sense, which is a rarity amongst boys. He also remembers to treat me like a person and ignore the fact that I am a Slytherin. Then there's Peter Pettigrew. I don't have a lot to say about him, apart from the fact that he's short and pudgy, and not very talented. How he became friends with my brother, I will never know. 

And then you have Sirius Black. 

Sirius is the real reason I want to get away from my brother and his friends. My feelings for Sirius are all over the place. He makes out that he hates me in public, and therefore torments me, but alone? He torments my feelings. He's kissed me, he's yelled at me, he's hugged me...

He just can't make up his mind. 

And the worse of it all is I fall for it too! I let him do it all to me. I don't know why. Maybe I do harbour feelings for him. Nobody knows, though. Of what we do, what it's like together, alone. Most people think we can't even make it out alive if we're alone together. The reason we don't tell anyone, though, is mainly because Sirius is scared of my brother. 

Let's just say that James is very protective.

Back to now! I get on the train, hoping that my friends will come and find me. And they do. I have a lot of friends, considering I'm a Slytherin, but then, we Slytherin have to put up with each other. It's annoying that over houses don't really bother to know each other, but times are definitely better now than they were before. At least there's some kind of general communication. 

But my friends are the most amazing people. There are six of us, plus four more in our year in our house. But I'm not really close to them. Instead, my very close friend Ezra Parker makes up for everything. He's annoying, but not in an harsh way. We can put up with him. Then, there's Millie Janes, who is a big nerd like me and all into muggle magic as well as wand magic. She's crazy, but I love her. You've then got Cameron Thomas and Marie Parkinson, who are the cutest duo ever. They're also an on-off couple. I've given up, to say the least. And finally, you've got William Miers, who is really the softest thing ever. He's also married to Millie's magic tricks. 

All together, we're a close group.

Before my friends can join me, I start to nod off. When I wake up, I'm not with them, I'm with my brother's friends.
