I don't say this often enough, but thanks for reading. Who's your favourite character so far, and who would you like to see more of? Are we all for protective James? Sorry, this is short, but shorter updates mean faster updates!

OWLs. Right now, those words would send me screaming. Even Millie could not take it. Nor Will. Everyone in our year was sent into a frenzy of studying, panic, and nervous breakdowns. But the teachers seemed able to pull us together. Barely.

Our first exam was Charms Theory. Every single flashcard Ez and I had made was put to the test, but I think I did okay. Next was practical, which was fine. The next one was Transfiguration and McGongall barely managed to stop half of us from not doing either exams. After that, Defence Against the Dark Arts. It went okay. Additionally that night, we had Astrology. We got to sleep in before Herbology. Then, it was potions. Finally, it was any subject that wasn't a core. After the Care of Magical Creatures exam (or for Ez, Divination) we were finally free. Sirius and I decided to sneak away to the lake, hoping James wouldn't join us like in Paris.
"Freedom. It feels so good," he moaned, closing his eyes in the summer sun. He was lying on his back, and I rested my head on his arm. His shirt had gone up a little.
"Yeah, but now we got to worry about results," she reminded him.
"Well, I'm sure we did fine," he attempted to reassure her.
"Fine? Baby, I was ready to leave partway through that Transfiguration exam. I'm not sure how McGonagall managed to get me to stay there. Maybe she's got some kind of charm."
"One that does not work on me. Baby?" he repeated. I looked up at him.
"What?"
"I like the sound of that," he decided. "Princess."
"That's cute," James interrupted, standing above us. I let out a frustrated yell.
"James!" I finally shouted, glaring at him as I sat up.
"What?" he replied innocently.
"What is the point of my having a boyfriend if you keep chasing us? Do I do this to you and your girlfriends?"
"Yeah, but that's because you know he's pining for Evans still," Sirius pointed out.
"I am not!" James protested.
"Jem, yesterday, you stood on the Gryffindor table and proclaimed your already-known love to her," I reminded him.
"Oh, yeah. Exam stress?" he tried. Sirius and I both snorted.
"Jem, I love you, but what happens when I get married?" James hesitated. "Exactly."
"Sorry, Cath. I just get worried about you."
"I know, James. I love you too."
