This gif of Stanley is 100% me. Also, I realised that Cameron is literally a dead character, and you may not even know who he is, so I'm bringing him back 1000000%.

We were going on a school trip. To France.

No one really understood why, at first. We had O.W.Ls coming up, in less than three months. Could we really afford a week off? "Maybe they're trying to get us in the zone," Millie said.
"Millie, if they wanted to get us in the zone, we'd be doing mock exams," Will pointed out.
"True."
"I bet it's because they're so done and they want a holiday, but they can't exactly leave us behind," Ezra said.
"Yeah. I'd be done with you as my student, too," I replied, smirking. He threw a sock at me.

We were currently in the Great Hall, waiting for the teachers to give us directions. Instead of taking the whole entire year group out at a time, they were taking two houses at once- first us and the Gryffindors, then the Hufflepuffs and the Slytherins.
"Still," Cameron said, putting an arm around Marie. She slowly smiled. Even if she would not admit it just yet, she was totally in love with him. "I am so excited. I didn't even sleep last night."
"Well, it's a nine hour drive, pretty much," Marie said. "You can sleep on the bus."
"But it's less time taking the train," Millie said.
"Yeah, but a bus is better. Teachers would never take the train," Will replied.
"It just doesn't make sense!" Just as Millie and Will fought over trains and busses, Professor Dumbledore approached the group of people. Everyone shut up instantly.
"I know you are all very excited to go on this trip. However, to stop any... rowdiness and trouble, we are assigning you partners. You stay with your partner the entire trip. Do not leave each other's side." He then just walked away.
"I feel Dumbledore has a flair for the dramatic," I whispered to Ezra, who snorted.
"Slytherins, follow me!" Slughorn shouted. He was kind of hard to find amongst the rather tall crowd, but he was waving his hands.
"Ten galleons we're not sat with each other," I whispered to Ezra.
"You're on," he said.

A few minutes later, I was ten galleons richer. "I hate you," Ezra said, as I walked past him to the seat behind. "So much." I grinned.
"Hey," I said, holding out my hand for my money. "At least we're this close. Look at poor Millie! Right at the front." We both peered down between many seats to see our friend seats away. We waved, but it was likely she missed it.
"Yeah, we're good," Ezra said.
"No, we're brilliant," Sirius said, plopping down next to me. I groaned. "Hey! What's with the 'oohhh'."
"No reason. Just a, a numb butt." He pulled a face.
"Well, buckle up, because we're travel buddies," he said, grinning at me.
"Do you know where James is sitting?" I asked.
"Near the front, I think."

"First stop," Professor McGonagall said from her speaker. "The service station. You may buy drinks and snacks and whatever else with the muggle money we gave you. If you do not know how to use it, come and talk to a teacher. And stay with your partner," she added.
"So," Sirius said, unbuckling his seat belt. "Where to first?"
"Toilet. Definitely," I said, hip-bumping him to move. "I have been holding it in for two hours. Go!"
"Where to after?"
"Coffee. Food. Coffee."
"After that?"
"Whatever, I guess."
"That is a really concise plan," he said, slowly moving.
"And I really need the toilet. Have you had your fun?"
"Yeah. Okay, I'm moving."
