*Knock Knock Knock*

Charles knocked on the white door firmly, but not loudly, before the door opened, revealing a blond girl with beautiful green/hazel eyes and a polite smile.

"Raven, this is Lilith Stevens, she's like us. Lilith, this is my lovely sister, Raven Xavier," Charles said introducing us with a nice smile as Raven looked over at me, her eyes widening slightly at my appearance.

Raven, with the biggest smile I had ever seen in my life, pulled me into a hug so fast my head was spinning, mostly from the fast motion making me flinch.

Pulling back just as quickly Charles gave me a small look in concern before his attention was taken away which I was quite thankful for.

"Wait, did you just call me lovely?" Raven said before smirking.

"You must really need something," Raven said looking at him, obviously finding this odd, but definitely intrigued.

"You've caught me red handed." He said, jokingly putting his hands up in surrender, making me give a small smile out of amusement.

"What do you need?" Raven said a bit monotone.

"Well, I was wondering if she could possibly borrow some of your clothes? Just until we had a chance to go to the shops." He said his clean British accent making a very strong appearance.

"Yeah, of course, come in!" The young and chipper girl nearly dragging me in, making me wonder, what had Charles gotten me into?

I gave one last glace to Charles, and he in return gave me a reassuring smile before Raven shut the door leaving me alone with a complete stranger... well, they're all strangers to me, aren't they?

Sitting down on the bed, Raven quickly jogged to her small closet and buried herself in the world of fashion, a world I rarely go into but enjoy from time to time, or did at least.

"So what do you like to wear?" She asked, her voice slightly muffled.

"Um...I don't really know, sweaters mostly." I said, trying to recall what I used to buy with my mum at the mall.

Looking out the window, I saw the sun was low in the sky almost looking like a painting, making beautiful bursting colors of oranges, pinks, and purples, all across the light blue canvas.

'It'll be dark soon.' I thought, enjoying the sun for as long as I could.

"Here," Raven said startling me from my thoughts.

Looking in front of me I saw her standing with a pair of skinny jeans and a grey sweater like thing.

"Sorry, but I don't think were the same size shoe," she said comparing our feet, and she's right, my feet are wider than hers.

"That's fine, thank you for the thought though." I smiled before gaining enough courage to take the items from her.

"And if you want to take a shower, the bathroom is through that door." She said pulling me off of the bed, making me feel a bit guilty about it all, with her being so nice as to give up her clothes and let me use her bath when we had only just met a minute ago.

After thanking her for everything multiple times, I found myself in the bathroom playing with the temperature of the shower.

Deciding to let it heat up for a moment, I walked to the counter catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and I nearly cried out in horror at the sight.

Looking at my reflection I could hardly believe it was me.

My green eyes were dimmer than I had remembered, making me sad to see the bags under my eyes weren't helping. My once bright green sweater was now dirty, with holes torn in it and blotched with dark patches I knew was my blood. Pulling the shirt off, I tried to not think of how the blood got there, but it was still caked on me, my skin burning at the memories that were clawing their way to the surface.
