Chapter 2

I look back and I see that my dress got caught on my chair I tried to pull, but it was really stuck. I see someone trying to help me and I see its the guy I like, Jacob. After I was free the bomb went off on the other side of the school. The whole school was up in flames. It was getting really hard to breathe, but me and Jacob kept on trying to find a way out. Then over us the roof started to come down on top of us. The roof falls on me and I'm out cold. Jacob picks me up and run out the door with me in his arms. Then the second bomb goes off. We were knocked farther away from the school and this doesn't wake me up still. Jacob keeps on running and we end up as far away from school as we can.

He sets me down by a tree and tries to wake me up, but I don't wake up. He starts to panic and then sees a stream nearby and picks me up and takes me to it. He splashes water on my face and I wake up. I ask what happened and he tells me that the school was blown up and that only 8 Seniors made it out and that only 9 Juniors did too. I look up and see that all of the Seniors that made it out were with us. I was so happy that my best friends made it.

We all start to walk around and we could still see the school on fire. We couldn't help but go back and help. We see that we were the only students that made it out (including the Juniors)."

I start to get a little teary eyed at this. And I quickly wipe it away. We start to walk back to his house and he asks me if I want to stay for dinner, and I did. His sister's love me to death and practically begged their parents if I could stay for a few nights. Their parents didn't mind because they were going to be out of town anyways.

The next day me and John went into the woods to look for cool rocks and just to walk around. We hear a stick snap and we look around and see Jacob coming towards us. He asks us what we were doing and we told him that we were looking for rocks and walking around. He said that we were boring and he asked if he could join. We said he could and it was fun. We walked really far into the woods. Since we were really far into the woods it was getting really dark when we decided to turn back. It was really dark out and we could hear animals in the woods and we saw two raccoon's fighting. It was really funny and intense.

By the time we were all back at John's house it was going on 10 o'clock. John's brother wanted Jacob to stay so he did. It was fun we all played truth or dare and even John's little sister April played with us too. We ended staying up till 3 o'clock playing and talking. In the morning we were all really tired we decided to sleep all day. Around 12 o'clock we were all awake and didn't know what to do. We all decided to go to our favorite hangout spot. John's brother, Sam, invited his girlfriend, also my best friend Alex. We all had a fun time. We went back to John's house but me and Alex wanted to go shopping.

Alex and I went shopping and we went to all our favorite stores. We got new running shoes, boots and flats. We also got new outfits and we got dresses to wear to a summer dance. When we got back to her house I stayed for a little bit to continue talking. By the time I was back at John's house it was going on 9. I was so tired from the day I just fell asleep. But I was awaken by a loud noise.
