Chapter 7

I was about to shut the door but he stopped me from shutting it. I go outside to talk to him. I tell him that he needs to leave me alone but he ignores this. He just goes on and on, about how much he misses me. Then he says that he had a dream about me. Right now I'm thinking " Dude what is wrong with you I don't like you anymore and we aren't dating. Oh my goodness I don't like you leave me alone you creep!" I want to scream this in his face so bad. I know not to because that would be rude and immature. I just stand there and listen to him go about how he misses me.

After about an hour of this he asks me if I want to get a cup of coffee with him sometime. I didn't want to be rude because we are still friends so I say yes. He's really happy I said yes. I go inside and eat breakfast. Everyone is down stairs eating. When John wants to turn the news on. We see that their are already people not wanting to go into the army. They show the soldiers breaking down doors to get into peoples homes. We all look at each other and hope that this doesn't happen too.

We finish eating and we hear a pound on the door we all look at each other and we don't do anything. They pound again and order us to open up. But we still don't do anything. They bust open the door and it's the military. Jacob a grabs me not wanting anything to happen to me. John and Sam do the same. Jacob and I run upstairs and John Ashley run to the basement. Sam and Alex run upstairs too. Jacob and I hid in a closet. He tells me that he loves me and that he always will. He said he'll fight hard so he'll be able to go home. He kisses me and I fear that it will be our last. I start to cry a little and Jacob said he'll be back soon. He hugs me and I'm so scared for what might happen next.

Jacob and I are ripped out of the closet. They try and separate Jacob from me but we hold our hands together as hard as we could. They eventually get us a part and I'm crying really hard and we try and reach each other before he's taken from me. They take Jacob downstairs and I can hear Ashley screaming for them not to take John. I start to yell for Jacob, but I can barely get anything out. I see Sam being dragged down the hall. Alex and I start to tun down the stairs trying to reach them. We were joined by Ashley.We run out the door to the truck. They let us say good-bye before they went. Jacob kissed me for a while. I knew for sure this was the last time I would see him. He then pulls me into a hug and he whispers that he will always love me. I knew I was crying right now. We kissed again before they left. Ashley, Alex and I were all crying. And then we turn around to go back into the house when we were all hugged from behind.
