Your POV:

"Babe can you take him to practice? I have a meeting at 1."

"Sure. You hear the Aiden. I'm taking you."

"You always take me to practice anyway mama." He said to me.

Yeah mama. Me and Lea have been together for 2 years now and Aiden loves it. He's still playing soccer and really good.

"His gears already packed up." Lea said. 

"I know babe. I got this come on." I said. "Me and Aiden are all over this right kid!" 

"RIGHT!" He yelled.

He was an energetic 5 year old. 

Besides me and Lea having our own little family, I was a junior in college. Me and Garrett were still really close and the bands been doing really well. 

Me and Aiden left for his practice. "Mom is going to the game right?"

I looked at him through the mirror. "She never misses a game you know that buddy." I said.

"She's always working."

"She has to. To keep food on the table and have a roof over your head."

"You don't work that much." He said.

"I work bud, just from home." I was a reporter for NWSL. The league was in it 8th season. Who would've thought. 

While in college I realized I did love soccer, just not at a player, but as a fan. I started going to more Breakers game and even traveling with Garrett sometimes to catch games around the country. 

The eventually hired me and I get to go to games for free and report on them. 

"And I make a lot of money with my work, but I got that college tuition son!" I said. "Mom handles you and her. I handle me and you. Got it?"

"Yeah!" He said. "The new nike cleats are cool." He said. "Kling said if I score 10 goals this season she'll get them for me."

"She said that?" He nodded. "Isn't Kling the best?" He nodded again. I dropped him at the field. "I'll be here to pick you up ok? I have to go to my school." I kissed the top of his head and watched him run over to his team. 

Everything was going great in my life. Looking back 4 years ago I never would've thought I'd be here. 

In school, a great girlfriend and her son, sick job, and a huge loving family.

And a wedding to go to in a few weeks.
