Your POV:
I was waiting for Morgan to pick up. I called her on FaceTime so she could see how adorable AJ was.
"Y/N?"
"Hi babe!" I smiled. "Say hi to Morgan."
"Hi Morgan!" AJ waved.
"Hi cutie." She waved back. "Who's this?"
I explained where I was and why I came here. "Then I met my new best friend AJ here."
"HEY!" I heard Ashlyn say. "I thought I was your best friend."
"Ashlyn look how cute he is." She came onto the screen.
"Hi Y/N's new best friend." He waved to her.
"AJ is in the same boat I was. You know what he asked me when I came in here?"
"What?"
"He asked if I was gonna adopt him." I smirked. "Now I know we're gonna get married in all and we need to start making decisions together." I looked down at AJ. "But I love this kid. You will do once you see his little face in person."
"AJ can you excuse her for a minute?" He nodded and I put him down and stepped outside. "Are you going to adopt him?"
"Morgan he has no one. He sits in the window to see families walk in hoping he'll leave with them. No one wants him, I was him Morgan." I said. "I'm not leaving here without him. If you don't want to adopt him with me, I'm sorry but I can't leave here without him. He needs someone who's been through what he has. I can be that for him Morgan."
"Y/N are you sure?"
"I always promised myself that when I had kids of my own, I was gonna be that best parent I could possibly be. That I would give my child anything and everything. He's been through what I have, but he's 4. I had to wait 17 years to finally have a place to call home. I can't let him be 17 and still alone."
She smiled. "Are we ready to be parents?"
"Are Kelley and Hope?"
She laughed. "Good point. Let's adopt AJ."
