Your POV:

I packed my bags and got ready to head back to BC. Since Morgan was done with the NWSL season and victory tour, she'd have AJ while I was in school.

"Why can't I come?"

"Cause I'll be really busy with classes." I said. "You'll be with mama in Georgia." 

"Georgia?"

"Yep." Morgan said. "And then to Houston for preseason." 

"Wanna drive me?" I looked at Morgan. 

After we finished the victory tour in Chicago, we flew back to LA to celebrate as a team. I was leaving from LA to Boston.

"Sure." She smiled. "Come on bud." She picked up AJ.

The drive was entertaining. AJ sang whatever song he knew for us. We parked and walked inside. 

"Call when you land." Morgan said. She hugged me. "I love you."

"I love you too." She kissed my forehead. "Oh you're just adorable Morgan Brian."

She rolled her eyes.

I picked up AJ. "My partner in crime. I'm gonna miss you."

"I'm gonna miss you more."

"I doubt it." He smiled. "No ninja moments without me alright?"

"I'll try mommy but I can't promise that." 

"Can you promise to be on your best behavior for mama?"

"I promised Pinoe I'd be a devil." He shrugged. "I don't make the rules mommy."

I looked at Morgan. "You sure you got this?"

"My mom had to deal with a 4 year old me. We got this."

"Mama I'll be good. Just tell Pinoe I was a devil." He said. "Got it?"

"I got your back."

He nodded. "Ok. Bye mommy. Learn stuff." He hugged me. I put him down.

I kissed Morgan once last time and grabbed my bag. "I'll talk to y'all soon." 

"Bye mommy! I love you!" AJ yelled as I walked to security.

"I love you too buddy!" 

The ride to Boston was relaxed. Phoenix and Ari picked me up from the airport. "LOOKS WHOS BACK!" 

"Hey." I got in the car. "SENIOR YEAR BITCHES!" 

"WOOOO!" Ari screamed. "You're engaged and a mother now. Are we partying this year or sitting at home like 40 year olds?"

"Hey Christie parties and she's got 2 kids AND she's 44."

Ari laughed. "Ok true true. But we're partying though right?"

"Duh we're college seniors." Phoenix said. "Y/N I will drag your ass if I have too."

Morgan's POV:

Me and AJ landed in Georgia and went to my parents house. "We're home." 

My mom greeted us. "You must be AJ." 

"Yep. Hi." He waved. 

I smiled. "Are you hungry?" She asked him.

"Duh." He said. "Mama I'm hungry."

"Come on. I cooked before you guys got here." My mom took him to the kitchen. 

My phone rang. "Hello?"

"I landed. I'm with Ari and the idiot"

"HEY MORGAN!!"

Y/N sighed. "How's AJ?"

"Good he's eating. I'll let you get settled. Talk later?"

"Of course. Tell your parents I said hello."

"I will. Love you."

"Love you too."

"Mama there's chicken!" I heard AJ yell from the kitchen.

I shook my head and walked in there. "Save me some." 

AJ is my spirit animal.
