Study Party

{Jacob’s POV}- after school

Me: BYE MS. CARRIE!!!!! Take care!

MC: Bye Jacob, have a nice day!

Me, my boo chres and myles all left MC’s house together. Tonight was the night I was gonna host my study party. And Invited both chres and myles. I was so excited that I need a chance to get the living room straighten up. Chres closed the gate behind us as we continued to walk up towards amber street.

Me: So myles, are you excited for my study party tonight?

Myles: OH SHIT!

Chres: *chuckles* Oh shit what?

Me: OH MY GOSH BOO!!! Did something happen? Like something bad?

Myles: Oh no sorry bout that. It’s just that I had forgotten all about party.

Chres: How couldju forget?

Myles: I mean I didn’t, it’s just I forgot to tell you guys something first before I could actually go.

We all stopped in our tracks in the middle of the street. A car from behind us had honked for us to move as we walked to the left side of the street towards the grass and stood there.

Me: What do you mean you have to do something first? Like what? Give us the deetz.

Myles: I have to call my mother and tell her that I will be at yall house. *pulls out cellphone*

Oh I forgot. He has “that” type of mother that must know where he is and what he’s doing 24/7. Me and chres gave myles some space so that he could privately speak with his mother. Once we got the “ok” signal we turned around and walked back to him awaiting for an answer.

Myles: She said I could go!

Me and chres: YES!

Myles: But before I go, I must make sure the house is clean first. Will that be ok with you all?

Me: Honey it’s no problem with me. In fact this gives me a time to see if my house is clean and I can set up for the party! Take your time.

Chres: Yea and I can help you Jacob with cleaning up and arranging stuff around.

Me: *clasps hands together* EXCELLENTE! I need someone with big, strong muscles that can lift a ton and---

Chres: JACOB!

Me: hmm?

Chres: *whispers* Not in front of the boy!

Me: *blushes* Oh sorry.  

Myles: So what time is the party exactly?

Me: When everything is ready. I’ll text you so you can come over.

Myles: Ok, but I don’t have your cell number tho.

Me: Oh my bad.

We all exchanged numbers and went our separate ways.

{Chres’s POV}

Me and honey bear was at his house. His moms and grandmoms wasn’t home. I helped moved stuff and Jacob prepared the snacks and the study material.

Jacob: *hands on hips* Ok. That’s it. We’re done.

Me: Awesome!

Jacob: Now I’m gonna text myles to come over while you relax.

Me: *chuckles* ok thanks.

(2 minutes later)

Jacob: Ok. He’s on his way.
