~ Chapter Forty ~
Kelly's POV
Luke was right, when I woke up the plane had landed and we were back in Melbourne, the glorious Melbourne.
I thought it would be different but I think this feeling is so much better, I feel like I can finally breath and not have to worry.
We got off the plane and went to the transport vans we already had one to ourselves as all of our clothes were in the van prior to our arrival.
When we turned into our street a massive feeling of dejavú hit me, I looked out my window and saw Beau, Gina and Jai standing out the front waiting for us, this is the best feeling ever.
A smile crept onto my face as I saw my family all standing there waiting for us to finally come home.
When we were finally face to face with them the tears began to fall freely, i missed them so fucking much.
I was pulled into a group hug by Luke, Jai, Beau and Gina, the kids were in the middle if our little circle.
I saw Tyler go straight to Beau and Georgia went to Jai.
I had never seen Beau cry up until this moment, his favorite nephew wrapping his arms around his legs and looking up at him with tears in his eyes, Beau was smiling like he was crazy but he had tears pouring down his face.
After our 10 minute hug we all carried everything inside our house and walked to Gina and Jai's for a drink, it's going to be such hard work getting settled back in.

Luke's POV
I looked up from my laptop to see Kelly sitting in the armchair across from me reading some book that she loved, her eyes left the pages to meet mine, her smile lighting up the room, I smiled back and went back to my laptop.
This was the usual day for us when the kids were at school, we rarely have anything exciting to do so we just sit across from each other and occasionally look up from what we're doing, smile then go back to what we were doing.
Sometimes we have sex, sometimes we eat pizza, sometimes we go for a drive, but being parents, we can't really do anything reckless, we're too used to being uptight and we care too much about our kids, they are first priority.
We aren't as young as we used to be anymore, we used to be invincible but now we just aren't, we're getting older everyday, I mean we are both 26, that's closer to 30 than 20.
Beau is 28, he has a daughter and is married, in all honesty none of us thought Beau would be first married, I know all of the boys were betting on James being first.
I really miss life when we were 18, I honestly wish I never left for LA, I would have been there when Tyler was born and I wouldn't of been away from Kelly. We would have had more time together.
---------------------------------------
"We have to pick up the kids." She said.
"Okay." I said.
My phone started to ring and I saw that it was Beau.
Kelly saw my face and the phone then said, "Don't worry I'll go."
I nodded and started talking to Beau, I then mouthed 'I love you' to her before she closed the door and got into the car.
Kelly's POV
I was in the middle of the freeway, it was almost always slow because of the traffic, I was in the left lane about to turn left, waiting for the light to turn green.
I saw the green light and started to drive left, suddenly I saw this huge truck coming towards me, I tried to avoid it but it hit my car on my side, all I felt was pain, so much of it and then everything started to turn white, then I saw nothing.
No one's POV
Luke was sitting at home just on his laptop after having a good conversation with his big brother, Beau, when out of no where his phone began to ring.
He scrambled around trying to find it, he finally did and hit the 'Accept Call' button.
"Hello?" He said unsure of who was calling him.
"Is this Luke Brooks?" The person asked.
"Yes."
"I'm Officer Smith, I am calling to inform you that Kelly Parks, your fiancé has been in a severe car accident." He said.
"W-What?" Luke asked.
"A car accident, she is currently in the hospital."
"Okay, I'll be there soon." Luke said.
Once he had hung up he texted his mum and asked her to pick up the kids.
He went outside and got into his car, he drove the same way Kelly did, not realizing that was where she crashed.
He was at the lights waiting for the green one, just as Kelly was not long before, when he finally looked around him, he saw her car wrapped around a pole, the truck was no where to be seen, and all of these police where there.
He knew that she was in the hospital now but he couldn't help but get out of the car and go to inspect the crash.
He looked into the car and saw Kelly's handbag, her dream catcher dangling from the rear view mirror, the car scraped of its colour where the truck hit, then lastly he saw blood on the seat.
He quickly grabbed he handbag and scurried back to his car, all of these thoughts buzzing around his head, he started to drive again and he chose not to really think about the situation, he just wanted to see her.
Once he was out the front of the hospital he put his keys and wallet into his pocket and then hurried inside the building.
At the reception he asked for Kelly's room and they told him that she was in the intensive care unit, that worried him a whole lot more.
He went down to the ICU and finally found her, lying peacefully still, with all of these tubes going into her body, her chest slowly moving up and down as she was forced to breath by the machines.
He sat beside her and just stared, he couldn't believe that just an hour ago she was perfectly fine and happy and now she's like this.
A doctor walked in and told Luke the diagnosis.
