"Kate? Kate wake up." Lanie said and Kate sat up gasping.
"Oh lanie! I had the worst dream ever." She said hugging her pillow. "What happened!?" Lanie asked sitting next to her friend.
"Rick came back with fiancee." She said and Lanie gasped.
"Rick would never! He still loves you." Lanie said and Kate wiped a stray tear.
"I messed up so bad lanie." She said and her friend simply hugged her.
"Shh.. I told you he's coming home tomorrow and you're going to tell him how you feel." She said and Kate nodded.
When Kate arrived at the school's campus she made sure her appearance was in check before walking in. she gasped when she saw him.
He was talking with Javi and some other people. As Kate walked she prayed her dream was only a dream.
When he saw her his face didn't light up like it had in her dream. He had a neutral face expression.
Oh no... Kate thought.
She gulped and felt her feet walking towards him. "H..hi." She mumbled and Rick simply stared at her.
"Kate." he said and she shyly smiled. When she saw his face she thought he must hate her.
But as he looked at her his lips began to upturn and his eyes softened.
Before she knew it she was being wrapped up in a hug. "I missed you." He said and she felt herself began to cry.
"I..missed you so much." She said and he smiled. "I'm so sorry." Kate murmured as she snuggled into his neck.
"We should talk." He said pulling away from her. They began walking in the gardens.
"So where all did you go?" kate asked kicking some dirt.
"England mostly and Italy." He answered. "Wow." She murmured.
"It was funny..a lot of girls asked me for some dates." he said and she gulped.
The memory of the blonde from her nightmare came flooding back.
"But I told them my girlfriend was at home waiting for me." He said and Kate gasped.
"What?! You..still want..me?" She asked with vulnerability in her voice.
