"And here is the little guy." His aunt said walking over with Jayden in her arms. 

Rick smiled and took the 2 year old in his hand.

 "Hey bud how've you been?" Rick asked, noticing the baby was also happy to see him. 

"He missed you! Every time you called his little face lit up." Gloria said and Rick chuckled. 

"Sorry I was gone for so long buddy." Rick said but the baby simply snuggled his head into Rick's chest. 

"Thanks so much Aunt G for keeping him." Rick said and his aunt smiled. "It was my pleasure, I'd forgotten what it was like to have a baby in the house! 

With the Twins in college." She said and Rick smiled, giving his aunt a hug.

 "I promise I'll bring him to visit again." Rick said and his aunt simply smiled.

 "Good! Now scoot, don't miss your plane." She said and Rick smiled.

 He walked out of the house and made sure Jay was safely strapped into his carseat before sliding into the driver's seat.

 Ok Rick was definitely surprised, last time when they were going to Long Island Jay was wailing and crying the whole time, now as they went back to LA he was calm and peaceful. 

Rick wondered if the baby knew he was going home!

 When they arrived at the airport Rick hadn't expected anyone to be there but when he saw Kate shyly standing there he felt his smile widen. 

She had been trying so hard since he had returned to make it up.

 He knew she was sorry, every time someone asked him where he went or how it was he would watch her shoulder slump in defeat.

 "Ka ka!" Jay yelled and Rick chuckled. Jay had started mumbling small words, including Kate's! 

well..Ka ka. 

"Yea buddy it's Kate." Rick said dragging their suitcases behind him and placing Jay down, his legs wobbled and stumbled as he ran over to Kate.

 Kate smiled and looked at Rick as if she was asking for permission. Rick tenderly smiled and nodded. He had no issue with her holding Jay. 

She must have still thought about the incident that had happened. 

He smiled when Jay ran into Kate's arms. She rocked the baby in her arms and hugged him tightly.
