The Unexpected

Chapter Twelve

 I woke up to the smell of bacon, eggs, and toast; which was weird because my mom never really cooked breakfast.

 I didn't think nothing about it until I walked out of my room and heard my dad talking to my mom. I just thought to my self, shit I forgot about my "dead" dad being at my house. I walked to the kitchen and hugged my mom and told her," Good morning, it smells good." She smiled at me because she knew that I was ignoring the fact that my dad was sitting at the table.  My dad started to speak to me," Good morning to you too son. We have to talk about your new relationship with Lucas."

 I just looked at him in despise, like honestly I didn't want to talk about that right now out of everything he wants to talk about that. So I told him what was happening," Well dad if you must know Lucas and I are something new and I hope you accept the fact of me being bi but if not you can leave AGAIN!" By the end of my sentence I was yelling and I could tell that everything was to much, I was getting angry for my dad not being here.

 My mom just looked between me and my dad," Nova don't get mad we decided that it would be better for your dad to leave so you wouldn't be affected by what your dad had become." I looked at my dad and he was smiling," So dad I guess you know about what I am." He looked confused and then he started to smirk and laugh," Of course I do son you are a hunter just like your mother."

 Then it was my turn to laugh, " Mom you haven't told him what has actually happened.?" My mom started at me," Well Nova I figured it was your place to tell him about our secret." My dad looked confused and said," What secret." I couldn't help but laugh when he said that; I was laughing to keep my anger from showing. So I stood up and said," Well I think it would be easier to show you." As soon as I said that I was already shifting into my werewolf form.

 That was the worst idea ever because I lost control just from the anger. I started to jump at my dad but my mom protected him by knocking me back with a Taser. I just looked at her like she was crazy," Mom you don't understand he is the one who has been killing innocent people and he is the one who killed Lucas' old pack." She started to yell at me," Nova I know your mad but you can't come up with lies." I couldn't believe it she was taking his side so I walked out the door and headed to Adrian's house even though I wanted to go straight to Lucas' house. I decided I should talk to Adrian anyways.

 I got to his house and I knocked on the  front door. When I finished knocking I stood there for about five minutes and then I started to walk away but as soon as I did Adrian opened the door," Hey Nova we need to talk." I just looked at him in agreement. We went inside and he took me to his room because it wasn't like we could talk about what happened in front of his parents.

 When we got to his room Andrea was there to I try to walk out but Adrian quickly closed the door. I did not want to talk to Andre right now," Adrian I don't fell like talking to her right now I want to talk to you." They both just looked at me and Adrian just laughed," Nova we all need to talk about what happened." I just blew," Well we need to hurry up because I need to tell you guys something."

 We started to talk about what happened and then Adrian ended up telling me he was sorry," Nova you are my best friend and I am so sorry." I told him the same thing back in then I looked at Andrea," Hey I am sorry, I wanted to tell you but I didn't know how you would act." Andrea looked at me," Don't worry and I am the one who is sorry."

We were finally done talking about this and then I had to tell them about my dad being back," So guys you know how my dad is dead well he is not and I think he is the one who is killing and attacking people." They both looked shocked but Adrian broke thee silence," Does Lucas know.?". I looked at him," Yea I made him come inside because I smelt something and hen we did my dad was sitting there."

 Adrian just looked at me," Nova what the fuck are you going to do." I kind of laughed," Well lets just say that he was trying to talk to me about Lucas and me and then I told him what I was and I almost attacked him. But my mom protected him by tasing me and that's why I came here." Andrea and Adrian just laughed at the fact that I lost control even though I had learn how to control my self on a full moon. I just smiled and I told them," Well I am about to go to Lucas' place so you guys can come with or you guys can stay here." They said that they would come by a little later so that we could all talk about my dad.

I start to walk to Lucas' house and it started to pour down rain. I just yelled to the sky," Why, why must this happen." I had to keep going but Lucas pulled up beside me and rolled down the window," Hey there stranger. You are to cute to be out here alone." I let out a little chuckle and I could tell that I was blushing. So I told him," Well lucky me that someone that looks like you found me." We both laughed and Lucas told me to get in.

 So I got into his car and he took off and asked me were I was going, so I told him," Well I wanted to get away from home so I went to talk to Adrian and Andrea was there so we worked out everything and then I wanted to come see you. So lets go to your house and have some fun." Lucas started to laugh at me so I asked him what was funny," Well Nova I would love to have a break and have some fun so what do you plan on doing for fun." He started to smirk and I just said," Well lets wait and see until we get to your house." I knew that he could see me blushing and we just sat in silence until we got to his  house.

We got to his house and it was still pouring rain, so we had to run inside but we still got soaked but I was already soaked so I didn't care. I never seen Lucas wet his hair had fallen and was stuck to his face and since he didn't have his jacket on you could see his abs through his t-shirt and shoot I wasn't complaining and obviously I was staring because he started to laugh," Nova you enjoying the view." I just laughed and blushed and I couldn't help myself so I slung my arms around his neck and started to kiss him.

 I figured he would pull away but he didn't he just kissed me back and grabbed my waist. I pulled away and I started to smile I couldn't help it, I actually have someone that I feel a connection with.  We get inside and then Lucas made some us some hot chocolate and we sat on the couch and just watched tv. I laid my head on his chest and just listened to his heart beat. I told him," Lucas, I love you" I didn't think Lucas would say anything back but he did," I love you to Nova and what do you want to do for fun."

I just smiled at him and kissed him again and then I told him while I was getting up," Well I don't know but I am about to take a shower. It gets lonely in the shower." I winked at him and went to the shower and as soon as I got in the shower I heard Lucas walking to the bathroom door. He opened the door and I made a smart ass comment," Glad you could join."
