Arri's POV:
Everything ended up getting resolved and we got home last night. I planned on going Christmas shopping with T later, but first I had spin.
I have been riding the hellish static bikes since I was 17 as the easiest form of exercise for me. I arrived and saw Ed, the instructor, walk down the stairs sweating.
"Ah ha! She's returned!" He laughs and I shake my head.
"Don't kill me," I tell him and he shakes his head as I walk into the room of bikes.
"Hello!" Bobbie, Ed's wife grins at me as I sign in.
"It's so bloody hot, I'm sweating and I'm not even on the bike." Evie sighs as I set up next to her.
"How many this morning then?"
"3, my head's not agreeing with me though." I chuckle and climb on.
We finish the class and walk back together, looking like sweaty hot messes.
"Hey friends!" I look at the paparazzi, and Evie laughs as we take the stairs. She lives on the same floor as me.
"See you Sunday?" I ask as I get to the house.
"Depends on of my head is okay, bye!" I walk in, smiling to myself at Evie's remark and realise Shawn had gone to the gym.
I change into skinny jeans, a burgundy and black jumper with my ankle boots. I drive to T's and pick her up and we head out. She still hasn't got back with Peyton but apparently they're on good terms so it's fine.
T always spends Christmas with us and we have a blast. We decide to get matching Christmas jumpers to wear on Christmas Eve along with pyjamas because we're not excited or obsessed whatsoever. We buy presents on a mass scale and walk into Starbucks in search of hot chocolate.
"Oh my god," The woman behind the counter stares at us and we laugh and order then continue to shop. We see Abi who hides her bags from us quickly and we play with Sophie, her little girl before running to get more presents before shops close.
T decides to stay at mine as we can't be bothered to take the long route home and I walk in to see Shawn and his friends lying on the couches with pizza boxes to hand.
"What the actual hell have you been doing today?" I ask and Shawn looks at me.
"Eating, a lot."
"Shawn," I moan, "Fine, but you're so doing the bins tomorrow."
"Ugh," He sighs but doesn't object.
"Hey T," His friends call after greeting me.
"Hi lazy assholes," She walks in; "My legs feel like they will give way very quickly. I've never shopped so much, like ever!"
"So?"
"Get out of here," T tells them and they evacuate.
"When your best friends got superpowers," I say as I document the goings on on Snapchat.
We watch movies and eat rubbish all evening and eventually go to bed. Later into the night I wake up to a grunting noise.
"Shawn?" I ask as I hear the violent strumming of a guitar. I sit up and attempt to see him. He slouches over the edge of the bed his guitar tight in his arms.
"What's happened?" I ask softly, knowing Shawn puts a lot of pressure on himself.
"Just go back to bed Arri," He snaps; "I need to do this myself,"
"Shawn," I warn him, "You've got a show tomorrow,"
"I don't care," He says blandly as I lie back down and stare at the ceiling. "I told you to go to sleep anyway,"
"Shawn, seriously, what's happened?"
"It doesn't involve you so leave it be,"
"But clearly it's not doing you any good, just tell me. Please Shawn, I want to help."
"Aaliyah told me things are crap at home. Jade and Mom are yet to make up even though she told me otherwise. I just hate it. I hate it when everything goes wrong but I can't be there." I sit up and shuffle round next to Shawn.
"We can be there, we can go tomorrow-"
"But I don't want you getting hurt-"
"Shawn, this isn't about me."
"But I want to make you happy,"
"Shawn, I love you. You know what you do normally is enough." I peel the guitar out of his arms to see one of the strings is broken.
"I just, ugh, I,"
"Leave it, tell me tomorrow if you want to go. I promise I'll do whatever I can to help." I place my hand on his and see him smile.
"Come here babe," He pulls me into his grasp and kisses my lips sweetly. "I love you A,"
"I love you too Mendes,"

"We're staying here for Christmas," Shawn mumbles before falling asleep again in the morning.
"Okay," I sigh and press a kiss on the corner of his mouth before walking into the kitchen where T had let Mom up.
"Morning Mom," I smile at her and kiss her cheek as she stirs her tea.
"Morning hon, where's Shawn?"
"Sleeping," I sigh as I pull out some childish cereal Ev eats. Sugar and caffeine is needed now. Maya crawls round the floor as Mom keeps a close eye on her.
"Maya who's coming to visit soon?" T asks and Maya's eyes light up.
"Santa! He come down chimney with pres... Pres-"
"Presents, he comes down with presents doesn't he baby girl?" Mom scoops Maya up and she giggles at me.
"What?" I ask and she carries on laughing.
"Awwi eating baby bwekfast, she not big girl yet!" She looks at my Disney bowl and my lucky charms.
"Well Missy, I think you'll find I am a big girl."
"No," She teases as Mom and T watch, entertained.
"A, are you sure you can look after her once I'm gone?" Mom asks with a look and I nod.
"It will be fine, y'know why? Because I'm 18 not your little girl anymore,"
"Shut up," She sighs as I hear Andrew, Shawn's manager want to come up.
"Shawn get your ass out of bed!" I yell as I buzz him up.
"Ugh," Shawn looks so tired when he walks out in a t-shirt and sweatpants. "Morning Taylor, T. Why'd you get me up?"
"Because Andrew's here," I tell him. He mouths s*** as the elevator doors open.
"For christ's sake Shawn," He sighs as he walks in.
"This isn't my fault," I say defensively and he shakes his head.
"It's fine,"
"Drink?" Mom asks and he nods as Shawn goes to get ready.
"Coffee please, thanks Taylor."
"No problem, Shawn do you want a coffee hun?"
"Yes please," Shawn emerges in his usual attire.
"Have you brushed your teeth?" I ask and he looks at me strangely.
"Yes, why?"
"Because you breath stinks when you forget to," We eat breakfast with them and they leave hurriedly afterwards.
T leaves after that and me and Mom decide to go shopping for food for the Christmas party this weekend.
"Momma look, that girl is Riley from the TV!" I hear a little girl speak further down the aisle. Mom smiles at me and I do too.
"Excuse me," Soon she's standing at my feet; "Are you on Disney channel?"
"I am," I reply crouching down to her height.
"You're very good at acting," She remarks and I grin.
"Why thank you,"
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm helping my Mom with the shopping,"
"No, I mean in Nashville!"
"Oh, I live here,"
"Really?"
"Yes really," We talk for a while before I have to go to see Shawn at the arena.
"Heya Mendes," I see him smile as I walk into the meet and greet area.
"Alright gorgeous,"
"Shawn! It's opening now," The first fan walks in and I get on camera duty.
"Wait is that Arri?" She asks, surprised and I nod.
"How are you doing?"
"Good, thanks. Oh my god I can't believe this," She mutters to herself and I laugh. Fans seem to get nervous taking pictures with me around so a lot of reassurance has to take place.
I walk out for a minute to grab a drink and walk back into chaos. A fan tried to kiss Shawn, it's apparently number one rule that you don't do that so she was being sorted by security.
"Can you just tell the fans there will be a 5 minute wait?" Shawn pecks my cheek as I walk back through.
"Guys!" I yell into the crowd, "Shawn's still alive but there will be a quick five minute break to clear something up, so chill and please remind him that he's dealing with the bins tonight!" They laugh and I walk back to Shawn who's now holding a crying Maya.
"Arri!" She cries as I lift her into my arms.
"Scary dream?"
"Scary dream! Nasty dream!"
"I'll be back," I tell Shawn and he nods as I take Maya to his dressing room.
I manage to stop her from crying and let her run around in the meet and greet room with us. God, my family's mad.
