Chapter 3

Lydia's  P.O.V
I was woken up by knocking on my door

"No offence but whoever it is please go away" I said while laughing a bit as well and I heard a chuckle from the other side

"Now, now that is not a way for a lady to talk now is it ?" The person questioned and then I faked stomped out of bed opened the door to Charles and said

"How did you know I used to be posh?" I asked jokingly annoyed and he started to laugh at me and he tapped two fingers to his temple

"Don't read my mind again Charles it's too nosey" I said while laughing but also serious about the not reading my mind part

"What do you want anyway?" I asked him

" I came to come and get you up" he said while chuckling and I looked into his beautiful baby blue eyes for a moment and thought why are they so gorgeous Charles smiled and I thought shit he heard.

"What are we doing today's?" I asked him

"Well I am going to use the machine outside that you and hank built so that we can find anymore mutants and then me and Erik will go get them as we are like them" he said. I nodded to the door and said

"Charles waits outside so that we can go down together to cerebro" I said and he nodded and stepped outside. I got some means and a black jumper on and rolled up my sleeves to show my vines. I brushed my teeth and but on a little bit of makeup and stepped out side and Charles was waiting for me you look lovely Charles said in my head. I smiled at him and we started walking down to the lab. As we enter the lab everyone else is there

"How am I not surprised I'm the last one up?" I said jokingly while Charles, Hank and Raven laughed at me while Erik gave me an amused look while agent Mctaggert gave me a glare who pissed in her cornflakes this mourning I heard someone laugh and I turn around to see Charles laughing at my comment in my head I did he said in my mind. I tried so hard not to laugh while everyone gave us confused looks

"Anyway shall we get this started up shall we?" Hank asked and we all nodded while agent Mctaggert walked over to chrles and gave me a smug look so I decided to walk over to Erik

"what did you say in your mind to make Charles laugh" Erik asked

"well she gave me a glare so I said who pissed in her cornflakes this mourning and he replied with I did" he started to laugh quietly

"I probably know why she is glaring at you" he said quietly so only I could hear

"why?" I asked quietly

"because you were walking and laughing with Charles and she likes Charles" I nodded in understanding and then Hank started to wire Charles up to cerebro and Hank said

"Are we sure we cant shave your hair?" Hank asked while Me and Raven laughed while Charles protectively said

"don't touch my hair" then Hank turned on cerebro and Raven started to look worried

"Raven he will be ok this is completely safe I assure you" I whispered in her ear, she nodded and squeezed my hand. Cerebro lighted up and Charles griped the handle bars and smiled. Me and Raven had a relieved look on our faces while cerebro write down all coordinates to other mutant. After a while they turned off cerebro and Charles, Erik and agent Mctaggert went off to go find the mutants.
Time skip to 1 hour later
Charles and Erik came back with the first mutant called Angel, who was a stripper, so me and Raven took her to my room and gave her a dress with and open back leggings boots and a leather jacket and started to get to know her, turns out she was a lovely girl with a bit of attitude and then we waited for the next mutant to arrive. A while later they brought back a mutant called Darwin. He was a lovely man and was a taxi driver. Then a while more later they brought back a boy called Alex who apparently prefers solentary confinement. I wonder why that is but he was quiet and didn't really talk much. Then they came back with another boy called Sean who was very bubbly and chatty but then Charles and Erik said they were going to get the last one, we all nodded and then Raven said out of nowhere
