Chapter 4

Lydia's  P.O.V
When we had been moved to a different room everyone including me started to get really bored. Alex and Darwin were playing an arcade game where Alex was beating Darwin's ass at it and everyone else was talking quietly, when we heard a tap at the window and saw some agents going

"hey wing girl, do you want to give us a bit of flap flap" one of the agents said while making wing motions

"Or show us your pretty little flowers, flower girl" they said while pointing at me

"fuck this shit" I heard Hank mumble and went to go close the curtain

"oh let's see your feet Bigfoot" Hank waved at them and close the curtain

"just ignore them Angel" Raven said

"boys taunting me, I can handle but I'd rather have them stare at me with my clothes off then the way these people stare at me" thump I stood up at the noise and Alex stopped playing his game

"I wasn't the only one who heard that was I" everyone looked at me confused but Alex said

"I heard it to" thump thump thump then everyone rose up and Hank opened the window but there was nothing there

"what the-" thump our boss landed right in front of us. Dead. Raven and Angel screamed and moved back with everyone else but I just stood there shocked looking at the lifeless body of my boss on the ground

"Lydia come here now. Please" hank begged but I stood still as Hank kept on calling my name, then I felt arms around my waist and me getting picked up. From the familiar scent it was Hank

"Hank he's d..d..d..de..e.ead" Hank pulled me in for a hug and then passed me over to Raven who wrapped her arms around me tight, all the CIA agents were dropping from the sky to their deaths and we just stood there and watched like idiots

"Get back get back do not leave that room" CIA agents with guns shouted at us then out of no where a red skinned man pooped out and we all screamed while pointing at him

"Shoot shoot" a CIA agent shouted at the other and they started firing their guns at him and then he pooped out again while we all dove behind the sofa while screaming and me and raven still holding onto each other and then he pooped back and grabbed and CIA agents arm that was shooting the gun and aimed it at the glass and the glass shattered and we all stayed on the floor while Darwin was protecting us and then we looked out the other window and a tornado came hurtling past and tore apart mine and hanks creation cerebro and then the red skinned dude turned up again and started killing the CIA agents and then Darwin looked at us all

"Stay here my ass, lets go" He shouted and we all started running towards the door and made it halfway down the hallway until agents told us to get back but we all knew that we could help and then we saw a explosion and we all screamed while running back into the room not knowing where to go with a tornado one side and the red skinned man killing the other, he even made one kill another CIA agent before killing him. Then the tornado threw someone into the glass window which made it shatter and raven screamed while I was just frozen, not knowing what to do and then the red skinned man and a guy that descended from the tornado in a suit walked in but before they could reach us they heard something outside the door which was a load of gunfire and then a voice

"Wait, wait, you want the mutants? They're right through that door, just let us normal people go and then-" But he was cut off and then a thud was heard while we all looked betrayed at the door and them another man with a ridiculous helmet walked through the door and said

"where is the telepath" the red skinned man replied by saying

"not here"

"Too bad, at least well then I can take this silly thing off" well at least he agrees with me on the helmet I thought

"Good evening, my name is sebation shaw" he said while smiling but I just glared at him

"And I am not here to hurt you" he said and then someone came in and shouted

"Freeze" while pointing a gun at shaw and shaw just smiled and said

"Azazel" and then he teleported and killed the soldier

"My friends, there's a revolution coming, when man kind discovers who we are and what we can do, each of us will face a choice" he said and looked at us all

"Be enslaved or rise up to rule, choose freely but if you are not with us then by definition you are against us, so you can stay and fight for the people who hate and fear you" he said while looking at me but I just started back at him

"Or you can join me and love like kings and queens" he said while he looked at Angel please don't do this Angel she grabbed his outstretched hand and started to walk with him

"Angel?" Raven asked while Darwin said

"Are you kidding me?" Angel looked back at us all and said

"come on, we don't belong here and that's nothing to be ashamed of" Darwin stretched his hand out towards her but she just walked further away with shaw and I glared at her and looked away.

"We have to do something" raven said while also glaring at her and I nodded agreeing then Darwin turned around to Alex and whispered something to him and he looked at him as if he was stupid and they both hit each other then Darwin turned about and called out

"Stop, I'm coming with you" he said while walking forward and I looked shocked that he did that. shaw smiled why Darwin why

"Good choice. Explain to me, what Is your mutation?" He asked

"well I adapt to survive so I guess I'm coming with you" Darwin said

"I like that" shaw said and let him through and he walked over and grabbed angels hand

"Alex!" Darwin shouted and I looked confused

"Get out" He shouted and we all ran towards the door

"Do it" Darwin shouted while grabbing angel to protect her and mutated while Alex started to swerve his hips and his red hula hoops shot out at shaw but absorbed it all and Alex face said it all.

"Protecting your fellow mutants, that's a noble gesture" shaw said while azazel grabbed angel

"It feels good" shaw said unfazed and then Darwin went to go and punch him but shaw caught his fists

"adapt to this" he said as he put Alex's energy into Darwin's body. He tried to adapt but he turned into ash

"NO" I screamed as k ran towards him but shaw went

"azazel" azazel teleported to me and slit his knife around my stomach then they all disappeared

"Lydia" I heard Hank shout as he ran towards me and held my stomach to stop the bleeding. Black spots were covering my vision as I reached my hand up to Hank's cheek and said

"hey it's ok, we all have to go at one point" I wiped his tears away as he sobbed into my hand

"but I don't want to lose you, your like the sister I never had" I hugged him and whispered

"and your like the brother I never had" it was the last thing I said as I went into darkness
