It had been a few months after the beach and I was finally walking properly again but Charles. Charles was declared paralysed for the rest of his life and that broke me so he had to have a wheelchair but he was coping well and we both decided to open up a school for mutants and moira was wheeling him across the field and I was walking beside her

"How many do you'll think you have here once you get the academy up and running?" She asked and I looked at Charles

"As many as I can manage and possibly more" He Sid's and I smiled at him and put me hand on his shoulder and he smiled at me and kissed my hand where and engagement ring was rightfully in its place. We wanted to get married before anything else could happen.

"You know, one day the government are going to realise just how good it was to have professor Charles Xavier and professor Lydia Russell, soon to be Xavier, on their side" she said as she stopped us and stood beside Charles and I smiled at her

"I guess we are real professors now aren't we?" He asked me and I nodded laughing at him

"Next thing you'll know I'll be going bald" he said and I looked at him but kissed his head

"I won't love you any less because of you not having hair" I said and he looked at me and smiled widely at me

"They're still armed the government. We're still g man but with out the g" he said and looked at moira and so did I

"No you're your own team now. Better, you're x-men" she said and I thought about to and I liked the name of it and Charles chuckled

"I quite like the sound of that. Moira for us your gonna be the one that they go for" he said and I looked at her

"I know. They can threaten me all they want Charles. I'll never tell them where you are. Ever" she said and then he looked at me and I nodded

"I know you won't. I know " he assured her and then hugged her and put his two fingers to his temples and made her forget everything.

After she then left confused. I wheeled Charles back into the house and into my office as I needed to clean it

"I'm sorry" Charles said suddenly and I looked at him as I looked through stacks of papers of potential students files

"For what?" I asked and he looked down at his lap and twiddled his thumbs

"I know you wanted children when you were older Lydia but I cannot give you any now" he said and I walked over to him and bent down in front of him and grabbed his chin

"Now you listen to me Charles Francis Xavier, Yes I wanted children but I'd rather halve you here and alive in front of me and live with you until we are old and grey than me be alone and not have you alive with me. I'd rather have you than anything in this world. Okay?" I told him and he nodded slowly and then I kissed him lightly and then we wheeled to the library and sat there and talked until I looked up and saw Charles asleep in his wheelchair so I put a cushion under his neck so it doesn't hurt and threw a blanket over him and then went upstairs and got into my silky sleep wear and walked back down to the library grabbed a blanket and a cushion and then fell asleep on the sofa next to Charles
